the powerful wind blew against the safety of her windbreaker jacket, and her textured hair that always managed to resemble a fluffy cloud demanded to be touched by angus' curiously gentle fingers. today was different, their minds had a similar thought - skip school, relax on the rooftop by observing the large heavy clouds swaying back and forth against the greyness of the sky, the smell of rain thick in the air.

"you look cute," his voice always made her heart skip a beat and flutter, "aren't i always cute?"

"of course you are.  here's a bigger question, why aren't you at school?" he asked while watching her move toward him with grace. the girl sat down beside him and gently poked the slight dimple in his warm cheek, "why aren't you?" her smile always made him feel something, possibly serious affection, happiness, or maybe even something more dangerous. angus never dreamed of having so much trust into someone who looked like a beautiful goddess that immediately deserved a golden crown upon her curly kinky hair that gave her so much personality.

he never dreamed of wanting to sneak off with her one night to escape his problems, take her somewhere pretty, isolated, peaceful even. she deserved that.

"i always happen to skip school, every second monday of the month. your turn."

her head laid on the softness of his shoulder, inhaling the smell of his soft hoodie, "i just didn't want to go."

"is there a specific reason why, love?" he never understood why the idiots of their school always managed to bug her, by stupid inaccurate words, by foolish giggles. anika is a beautiful girl with so much potential, he just wished everyone saw that in her, like he did. "no, no specific reason."

the firmness of her hand, holding his, slowly loosened. lies

a soft sigh escapes her lips, "they're bothering you?"

"yeah i just want a break, y'know." he leans down to place a sweet kiss on the top of her head. the wind went like velvet surrounding their bodies, the beautiful sun desperately tried to pry from behind the grey clouds. "i understand. i don't want those people to affect your education though." it was sweet that angus cared, probably too much for his own good.

"i want coffee."

"i swear you're becoming addicted." she chuckles softly, "i just like the taste angus, the walks to the coffee shop are always so peaceful."

"if it's coffee that you want, it's coffee you will get. let's go love."

the walk was peaceful, so peaceful and comforting. their soft fingers entwined, minds full of thoughts that would be discussed later that night. anika was happy, so happy that her smile was permanently glued to her face.
