Not one of Them (DBZ and Naruto fanfic)

Team 6 is Formed

~CHAPTER 3~

When I was in Ninja class the next day I noticed that Naruto was in the class, wearing a ninja band. I shyly stood in the back of the room and watched as several kids walked through the doors.

Girls were all crowded around one desk, swooning with loved filled eyes. I was curious to see what was up so I quietly wedged myself into the crowd. I saw a boy with pale skin, dark hair, a blue shirt with a long neck, and tan shorts, sitting in a position that looked like he didn't care for anything and seemed to not really like the attention he was getting.

I saw two girls in the front of the crowd fighting. One with long pink hair, and another with long blond hair that was up in a ponytail. Just then I caught a glimpse of orange and saw Naruto crouched on the desk the dark haired boy was sitting at.

"Naruto!" I whispered, and then blushed as I saw Naruto and the boy kiss! It was just so sudden.

"What! I was supposed to be Sasuke's first kiss! Not Naruto!" I heard the pink girl shriek. I giggled a bit and then saw a bunch of girls give me an unwelcome stare. I shrunk under their gaze and slowly walked back to a desk in the back and sat down. I sat alone which was no surprise to me. I then saw Naruto sitting next to the pink haired girl which looked like she wasn't too pleased with sitting next to him.

I giggled at Naruto. Just then Iruka sensei had began speaking. I had heard him mention about assigning new teams. I then grew very anxious, wondering who would be in my team, and having high hopes Naruto would be apart of my team.

"Katsu Oshiru," Iruka began. Just then a boy in a desk next to mine stood up. He had spiked black hair that was kinda like Naruto's but a bit shorter. He was skinny like Sasuke and wore a black coat with dark pants that went down to his knees, and his calves were wrapped in bandaging.

"Hoshiko Akiyama," Iruka went on. I then slowly stood up, and began to sweat as I felt the cold glare of people all around me. I closed my eyes and looked to the ground. I then gathered up the courage and looked to Naruto, who shot me a smile and a thumbs up. A small grin then crossed my face and I then sat down silently.

"And Michi Kagome," Iruka carried on as a scrawny boy with straight brown hair that went down to his neck stood up. He wore a yellow T-shirt with a red swirl in the middle and he also wore black shorts, with his calves also wrapped in bandages along with his elbows. I also noticed he wore his ninja band around his forehead to keep his long bangs out of his face. "you are all a part of team 6!" Iruka said with excitement, however my excitement died.

I had really wished that Naruto would be on my team. I sulked a bit as Iruka went on to the other teams. Naruto had been assigned to team 7 along with Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha. I wished I was In Sakura's place right now. I then sighed as we left the class. We had to meet up with our team to find out who our new sensei was.

"Hello Hoshiko!" Michi said as he walked up to me as he scratched the back of his head as he had a huge smile. "So... I guess we're a team now huh?"

I stuttered a bit. Not knowing what to make of his words. I never talked to Michi, much less knew he existed until we were assigned to team 6. "Uh... H-hi Michi." I replied as I looked at him funny.

"Hn." Katsu grunted as he walked with his hands in his pockets. "Guess this isn't that bad of a team..." He said in a low deep voice for a 12 year old.

"You really think so Katsu?" Michi said as he smiled at Katsu. I could tell he was so thrilled to be a ninja now.

Katsu smirked as we walked by the tree where I met Naruto. "Yeah," he began and then looked at me. "So... Alien girl is on our team now huh?"

I grew bright red and gritted my teeth. I hated it when people referred to me as the alien girl "My name is Hoshiko! Hoshiko Akiyama!" I snapped at the human.

"So the alien has a name?" Katsu said as he tried to get on my nerves. We had walked to the tree, which is where we would meet our sensei. I growled in frustration as I punched the tree, leaving a huge hole in the tree.

"Hoshiko, calm down. The boy means no harm." I heard an extremely familiar voice.

"Haru?" I whispered as I turned to see my adoptive father Haru. My heart skipped a thousand beats as I saw my father. "Are you... Are you our sensei?"

"I guess so! You are team 6 right?" Haru said as he smiled at me and the two boys. We all nodded. I then ran up to Haru and gave him a constricting hug. "Ok, so why don't you sit down and we can talk about ourselves so we know a bit about our new teammates."

I then sat beside the trunk of the tree, in between Katsu and Michi, and sat across from my father Haru. "Ok so I will begin. My name is Haru Akiyama. I like to train in fighting, and dislike seeing my comrades frustrated, upset, and suffering. My life long goal is to one day find out about my lost clan." Haru said with a smile. "Why don't you go next Michi?"

"Ok!" Michi said in a cheery voice. "My name is Michi Kagome. I like ramen, and dislike carrots. My life long goal is to become the best ninja the hidden leaf has ever seen!" Michi had finished with a bright expression on his face.

"I'm Hoshiko Akiyama." I began quietly. "I like all food, and dislike spiders. My life long dream is to one day be accepted by everyone and feel what it's liked to be loved." I said bashfully as I looked to the ground.

"My name is Katsu Oshiru. I don't really like many things, I also dislike slackers, and annoying people. And I don't really have a dream, except to bring pride to my father." Katsu said as he sat in a position, very similar to Sasuke.

"Now that you all know about each other, hopefully you will all fight side by side as not just comrades, but friends." Haru said as he stood up. "Well then, team 6. We shall begin our first mission tomorrow. I expect you to all get a good nights rest for our big day tomorrow. We will meet here once again at the same time."

"Yes Haru sensei." We all said in sync. As the two boys walked off I walked up to my father.

"So how do you enjoy being a ninja?" Haru asked me.

I kept looking to the ground as I shuffled my feet. "Alright." I replied.

"What's wrong? Your still moping." Haru said as he placed a warm hand on my shoulder.

I sighed. "All the kids still make fun of me, except for one boy. Naruto Uzumaki, but he isn't on my team." I said a little disappointed that my only friend was not on my ninja team.

"I understand." Haru said as I felt his eyes upon me. "I was an outcast like you just because I didn't have a family of any kind... Kinda like you."

I then lifted my head and looked I to the eyes of my father. I had a small smile. "I love you father." I said and wrapped my arms around Haru's waist. I giggled as he let out a low bellow. We then went on, walking home as we went on about our day.
