Naruto and Vegeta's True Feelings Revealed... Kind of

~CHAPTER 11~

I was roaming the streets of konoha, on my way to the dango shop to pick some up for Vegeta and Nappa when I heard someone call my name.

"HOSHIKO!!!!" I heard a familiar voice. "Wait up!"

"Oh hi Naruto." I said as I turned around to wait for Naruto to catch up. When he reached me he bent down and placed his hands on his knees while he bowed his head, trying to catch his breath.

"Hey Hoshiko, I'm not busy today, and Sakura turned me down, would you want to go get some ramen?" Naruto asked as he straightened up and had a huge smile on his face.

"I would like that, yes." I said with a smile. "But.... I was going to pick up some dango for Vegeta and Nappa and pick up some other food for them."

"hn" Naruto grunted. "Those stupid aliens-"

"HEY!!!" I screamed in his face.

"Not you Hoshiko!" Naruto said as he scratched the back of his head. "I meant that strange prince guy and his partner with the funny mustache. I mean, you have to feed them and do their laundry... What do you get out of it?"

I stood there and didn't speak for a minute. "Vegeta teaches me how to control myself." I said quietly. "Vegeta and Nappa are the only people who can teach me how to control it. I mean, Haru would never be able to teach me properly."

"Oh yeah, I forgot. But still, he just bosses you around as if you were just his own little puppet!" Naruto said seeming like he was jealous of the attention I was giving Vegeta.

"I'm used to it. I mean Katsu is on my ninja team" I said and began walking to the dango shop.

"So, when you're done fetching the aliens' food, then can we get some ramen?" Naruto asked as he followed me.

"Sure Naruto. Why don't you come with me?" I asked as I looked at Naruto. Naruto nodded his head with a smile. "Great!" I said as we walked to the dango shop together.

later....

"And so then the cat scratched my face!" Naruto said as he was telling me about all the missions he's been on. "And let me tell you, when we returned the cat to it's owner, I understood why it ran away."

I laughed real hard. "That explains all the scratches you had on your face that one day." I said as I began stuffing my face with beef ramen.

"Wow, you sure eat pretty sloppy for a princess, not to mention a girl." Naruto said as he smiled at me.

"And you sure are a knuckle head and don't know when to keep your mouth shut!" I retorted as I stopped and looked at him.

"WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?" Naruto shouted, looking pretty pissed.

"Just joking Naruto, jeez. You can be so sensitive sometimes." I said as I went back to eating my ramen.

"So... what would we call this? Hanging out? Two friends out for lunch? A date?"

Just then I spit out my ramen and almost choked because of what Naruto said."Th-this is a d-date!?" I said in shock. I was blushing a bright shade of red.

"Is it? I was asking you." Naruto said as he slurped his ramen.

"Uh...." I didn't know what to say. I liked Naruto, but.... I also liked Vegeta. But Naruto, he is ninja like me and we could work together to become the best ninjas ever. We also had that bet. But Vegeta, he is the prince of my race and I am the princess. He is also the only one in this world who can teach me how to control my killing urges. I was also still debating whether I should join his team.
