~CHAPTER 7~
"Hoshiko, what was with you today? You are usually well behaved. What you did to Katsu was unacceptable."
"I know haru, it's just.... I feel as though these outbursts are caused from me being a saiyan." I said as Haru and I were eating dinner. I had about three times more food on my plate then Haru. I was always hungry, and always ate a lot more than anyone I knew.
"Out bursts? You mean you've had more?" haru asked as he picked up some of his food with his chopsticks and shoved it in his mouth.
"Yes..." I whispered. "Today when I said I was sparring with Naruto and lost track of time, I was lying. I did spar with Naruto but I knew what time it was. When we were fighting, I was mad so I got into the fight and.... I could of killed him, if I didn't stop myself... I could of killed my friend Haru." I confessed.
"I feared this would happen as you got older." I heard Haru mutter to himself.
"What was that father?" I asked as I shoved an egg roll into my mouth.
"Hoshiko, when you were little you were quite fussy, and as a toddler, when you were mad you would throw a huge tantrum and attack me... when you would attack me, you had the power and skill of a well trained shinobe. Already at such a young age, you were powerful. I feared you would soon turn into a monster... If you don't get proper training, it's only a matter of time till you do become one." Haru confessed.
I bowed my head and stopped eating. "It's because I'm saiyan... isn't it?" I whispered.
"I'm sure it plays a huge part, sadly, yes." Haru said as he too stopped eating. There was a long silence, and then he spoke again. "We must start your training after dinner!"
"Huh?" I said confused. "What training?"
"Training to control yourself..." He said and picked up his chopsticks. "But enough talk, let's finish our fine meal!" Haru said with a huge smile.
I laughed. "Oh Haru!" I said and began stuffing my face, along with Haru.
After dinner...
"Ok Hoshiko, are you ready for your training? First I wanna evaluate all your power and ability." I nodded as Haru and I were off in the training grounds. Ok, I want you to try and drain your chakra... The fastest and easiest way to do that is to make shadow clones."
"Yes Haru." I said and powered up. As I powered up I noticed, it felt as though I had endless amounts of energy. I ignored the feeling and did as Haru said. At first I made about ten shadow clones.
"Is that it Hoshiko? I need you to drain all your chakra." Haru said as he stood by me. "Understood?"
I nodded my head, and powered up more. I still felt like I received more chakra, the more I powered up. After a few minutes I tried again, creating up to about a thousand shadow clones.
Haru looked at al, of them in amazement. "Hoshiko... How..."
"Haru... It's no use. I-I'm not running out of chakra..." I whispered.
"What?" Haru gasped. "Th-that's impossible! You must have just large reserves of chakra." Haru just wouldn't accept the fact that I had endless amounts of chakra.
"No Haru, no matter how much I power up, I won't run out of chakra." I stated. I knew Haru was thinking I was a true monster. It was impossible for a ninja to have endless amounts of chakra.
"Well then... I guess the next thing I want to find out is your nature type." Haru said as he walked by me. "I want you to use all your fighting techniques, and I will determine your nature type."
"Yes Haru." I said. I powered up for a while and then got into a stance and shot a small laser like blast from my palm, at the fence, making a small hole. I never did it before, but I felt the power rush to my hands.
"Hoshiko... How did you do that?!" Haru said in astonishment.
"I don't know father..." I said as I looked at my hand. "I felt my chakra flow to my hand and it just shot out in a laser. So... What nature type am I?" I asked, feeling curious.
"I don't even know what you'd consider that, Lightning maybe. Can you do anything else?" Haru asked me as his eyes were huge.
I nodded. I spotted a few wooden posts in an open area and charged them. I powered my energy to my hands and the power formed into a ball. I pushed the ball into the post, sending it flying across the training grounds. I looked to Haru. I knew that would be considered wind type.
"Such amazing power..." Haru said as he stood there. He then began walking up to me and then placed a hand on my head. "And with such amazing power, comes even greater responsibility."
"I know Haru, but... I can't control it." I said as I looked at my hands. "Training is fine, but when I'm fighting for real, I can't control my actions and I grow thirsty for the action of fighting and killing."
"Don't worry about it Hoshiko." Haru said as he ruffled my hair and a grin crossed his face. "We will work on it more. Tonight, I just wanted to see what I was up against. Now I see we have a lot more work to do than I thought!" There was a pause. "Now I'm gonna get some sleep. We will train again tomorrow with the others, tomorrow morning."
I nodded and watched Haru walked out of the training grounds, to go home was my guess. When Haru was out of sight, I lifted my hands and looked at them. "How much power exactly do I hold?" I asked. There were so many questions about my ability racing through my head, I couldn't process them all. Just then, I saw two beams of light in the sky which interrupted my thoughts, and the beams were near by. "What the?"
I squinted my eyes as I watched the two beams come closer, and closer. They finally passed me (far up in the sky) and landed somewhere far off in the forest somewhere. I was curious about what the mysterious objects were, and quickly I ran out of the training grounds. I ran at top speed and followed the beams.
I lost track of where they were, once they passed through dozens of trees, but I saw clouds of smoke off in the distance, so I followed that. After a few minutes I stepped out from behind a tree and saw two huge craters in the ground before me, a few yards deep and a few yards wide.
I hid behind a large tree, and cautiously watched the two craters. I gripped the side of the tree so tight, I basically squished the wood that was in my grasp. What the hell is this? I thought. All of a sudden my jaw dropped, and my eyes grew wide. I let out a quiet gasp as I saw two figures step out from the craters... That was when I knew, I was in trouble.

Ok, so.... I came up with a new idea. I thought it would be strange if Hoshiko was the only DBZ character or anything DBZ in this story so... Well... I decided to add some other characters. Long story short... Instead of a Naruto, Hoshiko, and Gaara love triangle, it will be a Naruto, Hoshiko, and.... Wait for it.... Vegeta love triangle! Probably a bad idea... Oh well. (For a heads up, Vegeta will be around their age so this is before he looks for Goku, and he won't be like in his late 20's or early 30's, he will be around like 12 yrs old, so it won't seem so weird...) Well I hope you enjoy my change in plans. I apologize for you guys who were looking forward to a Gaara love story. :( but I actually have a Gaara love story already published anyways so... Yeah....
