~CHAPTER 6~
"Hoshiko, where were you? We were waiting for you for about an hour!" Haru asked sounding concerned.
I could sense Katsu's glare upon me as he sat on the swing, and Michi standing next to him probably had a small frown feeling a bit sorrowful about not going on the mission sooner. I didn't reply or dare look at either of them, for my eyes were red and puffy, and my nose was probably a bit runny.
"Sensei asked you a question alien." Katsu retorted as he glared at me with his arms crossed.
"Katsu!" Michi scolded. "I'm sure she has a perfectly good explanation!" Michi turned to me. "You do... Don't you Hoshiko?"
I nodded my head slightly, as I bowed my head low in shame. I didn't wanna speak, knowing it would come out cracked and choked out.
"Why don't you explain to us Hoshiko?" Haru asked as he leaned up against the tree.
"I don't want to talk about it, Haru sensei." I said ever so quietly, I thought he didn't hear at first. I felt a single tear trickle down my cheek as the words passed my lips.
"Why don't you wanna talk about it?" Katsu asked flatly. "It must not be that important if you won't tell us."
"Katsu, if she doesn't want to tell us, that is fine with her-"
"I went to spar with Naruto..." I whispered, cutting Haru off. "I went to spar with Naruto and lost track of time." I lied. "I'm sorry Haru sensei, I was irresponsible and careless."
"Is that why you are crying?" Michi asked as he walked up to me.
I gritted my teeth and clenched my tiny fists, I wanted to punch him in the face 'cause he said that. "No..." I managed to say, but came out more harsh then I intended. "Can we please stop asking questions, and just go on our mission already." I said wanting to change the subject.
"Good point Hoshiko!" Haru began as he straightened up. "Ok, let's go. We are going to be delivering goods to some of the markets for the third Hokage."
"Haru..." Michi began, sounding displeased with our mission. "Can't we have a more exciting mission?"
"Not till you are more properly trained." Haru said as he ruffled Michi's hair in a friendly manner.
"Well when do we start proper training?" Michi asked.
Haru huffed. I could tell he was growing irritated by Michi's stupid questions. "When we get time, the first training session will be tomorrow morning if you guys aren't late." Haru answered.
"Did you hear that alien?" Katsu scoffed as he glared at me with those empty dark eyes of his.
I felt my energy and chakra flow through my veins as i dug my nails into my palm, opened my eyes wide, and looked at Katsu. "What was that Katsu?" I asked in a stern voice.
"Hoshiko..." Haru said as he tried calm me down.
"I'm just wondering if you heard sensei say that we would be training in the morning tomorrow." Katsu said with a smug grin. "I mean, you won't be late again, will you?"
"Shut up before I rip out your vocal chords!" I snapped. "Pitiful human, I could kill you right now!"
"HOSHIKO!!!" Haru scolded.
"What's stopping you?"Katsu asked, "Are you scared you'll be more of an outcast? Maybe you fear that the Hokage will sentence you to death? Or you just fear of the killing monster you could be?" Once I processed the words in my head, I took a step back, remembering the fight with Naruto. "What's wrong? I can't possibly be right?!"
