"Fucking hell, Beat!" I shout, pushing her. "Get up!" I say, nearly yanking the blankets from her.

"Why..." She groans, running her hands through her hair, her eyes still closed.

"Me and Lou are all packed to leave. You're just shlumping around our room. Get the fuck up!" I shout again, throwing my bag over my shoulder. "I'm already dressed!" I say, gesturing to my shorts and ribcage tank top.

"Huh? Leaving?"

"I'm leaving to go on tour. You know, with 5SOS. Cause that's not my job. Not to babysit you. Get the fuck up, or we're leaving you her to deal with hotel management."

"Why are you being mean?" She asks, pulling herself up from the bed quickly.

"I'm not. This is just me, okay?" I hurry up to the door and put my shoes one. "Lou is already ready to leave. The boys are downstairs with the van. I was suppose to meet them at the rental place, but seeing I'm running late.."

I open the door and I hear her sigh. And a little hiccup. I watch her walk out the hotel room and I just look at her.

"Beat... I'm sorry.." I stop mid-hallway and she just looks at me. "I'm not used to friends." I say, bluntly.

"Will you text me?" She asks, walking up to be.

"Duh." I say through and laugh and hug her. "Let's go, slow-poke."

"Who's that?" I hear Calum say, poking his head up from the group.

"Beat." I say, squeezing her hand.

"Oh hey!" He says, fixing his snapback. All of the guys laugh on sync.

"Well, bye.." I say, hugging her tightly. "I'll text you. I promise."

"Thanks for letting me stay over.." She says, smilling. "I haven't had anywhere nice to sleep in a while.." She says back, smiling.

"Huh?" Michael says. "But what about your home?"

"That's none of your business, Michael." I say and pull away from Beat.

"Wait, you let her stay with you cause she doesn't have a home?" Ashton repeats, practically. "That's actually sweet."

"Sweet is my middle name, Irwin." I say, smirking.

"Stop fooling around, it's time to go!" Liz says, ushering people into the bus.

"Buh bye!" Beat waves as she walks away.

We all hurry onto the bus, and I hurry to sit on my bed, throwing my bag down beside me. Ashton comes in and sits on the bed across from me, one that isn't claimed. I just stare at my phone, but I can feel his watch rest upon me.

"What would you like?" I ask, looking up at him.

"That was really nice of you.." He says, grinning. His dimples seem like craters, and his face the moon. I wish I could see it every night before I go to bed. I MEAN WHAT.

"What was?"

"What you did for Beat." He says, scooting closer to me. "Why did you do it?"

"Because she's my friend?" I say, but quickly realized I've just known her three days. "Because I'm nice."

"We all know that's not true. You're like, cold-hearted." He chuckles a bit. "I will figure you out, Ryan." And with that, he gets up and leaves.

I just bit my lip and look around. I feel the bus push itself into gear and I know we're on the road. We just need to survive nearly six hours till we get to Tempe. Which won't be bad, right? I pull out my iPod alongside with my speaker.
