Feel by Sleeping With Sirens

I let out a little sigh of relief as the plane hits the ground. I've never been on a plane before, or alone for such a long time surrounded by strangers. This is something new to me. I don't miss home yet, though.  After I get off, I'm gonna see Lou and then we're gonna go to wherever she's staying and she'll probably interview me. The flight worker ushers us out this door and beings leading us into the airstation.

I put my DS into my bag and  I throw it over  my shoulder before  trying to hurry up. I am ushered out a door that has high stairs leading to the ground.

"Ah shit." I mumble under my breath. An old lady hears me and just glares.

I wobble off and hurry into the building. I see no one with a sign or anyone running to me so I follow signs that lead to the baggage dispatching area. Or, in an easier term, the conveyor belt with peoples junk on it. I have never done this so I stand by, watching a variety of stuff pass by. God dammit this is taking long.

All of a sudden, I see two neon green and black cases show up and I run up scooping them up.

"Excuse me." Some lady says, the same one who had given me a mean look.

"Sorry. In a rush." I say with a shrug. I begin running by and going into a big room with people everywhere, waving and calling others over. That'll be me when I go home in a few months or so. Or, even if my mom can make it.

I pull out my phone and check for texts, none. I made sure to change my area before coming here. I put in my headphones and sit down on a chair, thinking Lou's probably late. She's an important person, right? So it's okay. I sigh and watch people running to each other, some crying and some laughing.

"Where are you?" I get a text from a number unavailable. A few seconds later before I can reply I get another one. "Look up."

I read the texts again before looking up, seeing a lady with light purple hair holding a sign that says "Ryan the Intern." I just laugh and run up, trying to avoid the crowd that's just leaving.

"Oops. Oh. Sorry. Excuse me." I say, bumping people by.

"Ryan, calm down." Lou says, pulling me into a hug.

"Sorry, I'm just a tad clumsy." I say, looking around. "Or maybe reckless."

"Well, thank god you told me now." She says, taking a suitcase from me. "Now, to our hotel."

I throw my suitcases on the bed and admire the room. It's rated a 4 star, but I give it a 10. It's so much better than my little apartment in a little town in Canada. I've never been in something so nice. Probably expensive. Note to self, pay back Lou.

"This is so cool!" I say, sitting on the bed.

"Don't make yourself too comfy. We have things to do. Might as well leave you're bag here, too." She says, opening to door.

"This is like my purse. I carry it everywhere." I jog up and she puts her hand on my shoulder as a hint to slow down.

"Ryan, we'r going to see 5SOS soon. Are you sure you wanna bring that?" She says. "They're adorable. Do you want them to see you like this?"

"I don't really care." I look down at myself. American Flag shorts and a plain black long sleeve shirt. It's almost summer, but I don't feel comfortable wearing a t-shirt yet.

She just shrugs and closes the door behind me. We hurry up to her car, which is a little as I imagined. I can see how this car wouldn't fit all of us. We drive down a main road as I admire things to my left and right. There's a big variety of things and stores. People singing for money, people dressed differently and multiple food venues. It's so much cooler than back home. I nearly press my face to the window, admiring every little thing.

"Ryan?" Lou says. "Ryan!" I snap my head to face her.

"Huh?"

"Try and act mature, please. Don't make me regret this." She says.

"Sorry. This is just so much different than home. So multicultural and interesting."

"Ah." She says, pulling into a big drive way which leads to a big house.

"Is this your real home?" I ask, looking at the big head doors and plants that nearly hide the house.

"No. The boys, remember?"
