Chapter 80

Niall's POV

"Niall turn left here," Erin directed at me as we drove down a snow covered gravel road. We had met only a few cars along the way and there were very few signs informing me where we were so I was depending on Erin for directions.

We had been visiting Erin's family for the holidays, and since we were already here we decided to check out the place Erin was thinking we would build our new house. Since I had agreed to move here, I had caught her several times looking at house designs or paint colors on the internet. She had been so excited with the idea of moving, there was no way I could tell her no at this point. What I hadn't told her was I was planning for a contractor to meet us and he was going to help us plan our future home. She was just thinking we were looking but I wanted to surprise her. I don't think she knew how serious I was about this. Thinking we would move in a year or so, I wanted to surprise her by moving her as soon as possible.

When I stopped the car, I checked the back seat, both boys were passed out in their car seats after burning all their energy playing with their new toys that had received. Erin was already jumping out, ready to explore. I followed her as she walked ahead of me.

"Niall look, we could build the house over here or even over there." She grabbed my hand, starting to pull me around the yard showing me her plans. "And we can build a barn so we can have some animals. I grew up with a lot of animals, and I want our kids to have that too."

"Whatever you want sweetheart," I agreed. She continued to walk around the yard, explaining to me all the things we could do. She talked of gardens, wrap around porches, and bonfire pits. I just followed along agreeing to everything because I would give her anything she wanted.

When we heard a vehicle driving towards us Erin asked, "Who's here? No one should be here."

"Well since I knew once I agreed to move there was no way I could take that back and not follow through. And because of that I got in contact with a contractor in the area who is going to help us build our house. Since we are having another baby and Riley is starting school next fall, we need to be moved in as soon as possible," I explained.

"Really?" The smile began to form.

"Erin you always seem so surprised, don't you know by now I'd agree to just about anything you ask for?" She quickly grabbed me around my neck and hugged me. "I love you and will do anything to keep you happy."

"I love you too Niall, thank you," she squealed.

Just than Riley who must have woken up comes running towards us. "Daddy what are we doing here?"

"This is where we are going to live bud."

"But there is no house?" He questioned.

"I know, that is why we are going to build one. And once it's finished we will move here. And next fall you will start school."

"Will Charlie come too?"

"Yes Charlie and Cheese will come. And if your mum gets her way, which I'm sure she will, we will end up getting even more animals for you to play with." Erin smiled towards me. I walked up behind her as she looked at our future home. My arms wrapping around her torso to rest on her ever growing belly. "And what about you little one? Are you excited this is where you are going to come home to? We'll have a nice nursery all ready for you." Erin's hands moved so they were resting on top of mine.

"Niall are you sure you're really okay moving here? Like what are you going to do?"

"Don't you worry about me, I'm sure I'll find something I can do. I was thinking maybe I could teach kids at school how to play guitar. And there is golf course nearby and I'll work on writing more songs and I still have my studio back home I'll run from here."
