ETHAN'S POV:
"I hope no one called the police." Cassie sighed as we drove down a long road in Cecil the stolen truck.
"Well, what would you do if you saw a glowing teenage girl and panicking teenage boy making out inside a tornado? I wouldn't call the police, I would call the..." I ranted, stopping myself from saying the word.
"Military... Great." She hid her face with her hands.
"It's okay, we'll be in Toronto in a few hours." I nodded.
"Then what? Ask for directions?" Cassie caringly touched the healing knife cut that was on my cheek.
"Yeah that, or.. does your phone have maps on it?" I asked.
"I don't know? Does it look like it has maps?" Cassie asked sarcastically, pulling her phone out and flipping it open.
"Nope." I popped the p.
"Well then, there's your answer." Cassie chuckled.
"How are you feeling now?" I asked softly, rubbing her leg.
"Much better. I don't know what that was but I don't want it to happen again." She shook her head.
"Don't worry, we're only about 2 hours away." I reassured her.
I noticed Cassie holding her stomach while frowning slightly.
"Hey, are you okay? Do you want me to pull over?" I asked her.
"No, I'm fine Ethan." She forced a smile.
"Are you sure? I will if you want me to." I reassured her.
"I'm sure." She nodded.
I nodded in return. I think I might be worrying too much. I just didn't want her to be in pain again.
As we drove on, I felt my throat sting as I swallowed.
"Is it just me or are you feeling thirsty?" I frowned.
"Yeah, a drink would be nice. But I don't feel like stealing again." Cassie sighed. She was right, we couldn't steal everything.
Right on cue, we came across a house party. The music was raving and the loud sound of laughter errupted from the house.
"They have free drinks at parties right?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yeah, but we don't know anyone there." Cassie leaned over me to get a closer look at the party.
"They don't have to know that." I smirked as Cassie glanced at me.
"Let's do it." She grinned.
I parked the truck and we jumped out, walking up to the house as casually as possible.
"We have to be quick, we need to get to Toronto." I said quietly to Cassie as she nodded.
We literally just walked straight inside. Bodies jumping up and down to the music, the bass banging out of the speakers. This was the most lit party I've seen during the day.
Suddenly a slight tipsy boy stumbled in front of us, blocking our path.
"Yo! I've not seen you two sexy people round here before." He slurred. "Who are you friends with?" He grinned.
"Uh, Leeroy." I blurted out as I could feel Cassie's eyes glaring at me.
"Oh my man Leeroy!" The guy held his drink in the air. "Are you his girlfriend?" He looked towards Cassie.
"N-"
"Yes." I cut her off. "She is." I smiled weakly.
"No way! He said you were hot, but I didn't expect you to be this hot. If only you were single, I'd be right on you." The guy looked Cassie up and down, checking her out. I tensed up without realising.
"Okay well we actually have to go and find him so, bye." I said quickly before pulling Cassie past him.
"Leeroy? Girlfriend? Ethan are you kidding me." Cassie tried to hold in a laugh.
"It worked didn't it?" I shrugged. "Maybe I shouldn't have said that you were Leeroy's girlfriend, that guy looked at you like he wanted to fuck you and I wasn't okay with that." I shook my head as we pushed through the crowds.
"Yeah, I wasn't okay with that either." Cassie agreed.
"What a douchebag. Let's hope he doesn't find us again because I can't have him looking at you like that." I chuckled nervously.
"Ethan Dolan, are you jealous?" Cassie laughed.
"What? No. I don't- I'm not jealous." I turned around to face Cassie.
"It's okay, it's kind of cute when you're jealous." She smirked. She kissed me sweetly, I always enjoyed her lips on mine. I guess you could say, kissing her was my hobby.
"Okay, enough distraction. Let's find some drinks." I whispered against her lips.
We soon came to a table that was filled with snacks and cans of drinks. We picked up two cans each and tried to quickly exit the party.
"I hope Leeroy won't mind that I'm taking his girlfriend." I joked.
"Will you stop talking about Leeroy like we actually know who he is." Cassie laughed.
"You prefer me over Leeroy right?" I carried on joking as we were close to the exit of the house.
"Ethan!" She gently pushed my arm while laughing.
Once we made it out of the house, with no Leeroy interruptions, we got back into Cecil and placed our cans in the drink holders.
"I think we were quite successful on our mission." Cassie grinned.
"Mission?" I laughed, throwing my head back. "What are we? Spies?" I joked.
"Um yeah." Cassie frowned at me, like it was obvious. "We're a spy couple that crashes parties for drinks."
I don't know what this chapter was. Honestly, I'm just trying to lengthen out the story. Also, it's DTT tomorrow and I'm already hype for it! Sooooooo tomorrow: it's gonna be litttttttt.
