       Colin's face turns red. Max and Harvey have confused looks on their face. Ashley just stands there.
"You dated our cousin??" Harvey asks
"Well yeah. We dated for a strong 2 years until we broke up. We just recently did actually..." I say
Harvey looks at Colin.
"How come you didn't tell us about her?" He asks
"I don't know. You never asked." Colin says
Max sighs.
"Well anyway. Me and Colin are dating and I would never cheat or break him." Ashley says
"Oh you lier." I say
"Excuse me?!" Ashley asks
"You were saying that you think Max and Harvey are cute. When you should only be saying that about your boyfriend." I say
"Ashley!" Colin exclaims
"Ok, well Julia only said she was going to "babysit" when she came home with a boy who was "walking her home" Ashley says using air quotes
"Oh please. The only reason he was there was because he was walking me home. I was baby sitting his little sister." I say crossing my arms
"You know the only reason your mom left you was because you're such a b*tch!" Ashley yells
Everyone falls silent. I feel tears lining my eyes.
"The only reason you're dad left you was because you're mom is a brat. And so are you!" I yell
"Julia!" Colin yells
"What Colin? It's true! Why didn't you ask Ashley to babysit instead of me?" I yell
"Because! You're better with kids than she is." Colin yells back
"Excuse me?!" Ashley yells
"It's true." Colin says
"You know what?! We're done!" Ashley yells
"FINE!" Colin screams
"Just letting you know, the only reason Colin liked you was because your brother told him to date you." Ashley yells at me and runs off.
There's silence again.
"I'm leaving." I say
I start walking out of the park.
"Wait Julia.." Max says
"No. I'm not in the mood right now." I say

       I sit in my bedroom sulking. I hate my life. My door opens, Ryan comes in.
"What do you want?" I ask coldly
"Ashley told me what happened.." he says
"Oh really. Not surprising." I say
"Look. What she said about your mom and all that wasn't nice. Your mom didn't leave because of you." Ryan says softly
"Why are you being nice?" I ask
"Ashley doesn't have to be that mean, but she chooses to. And well she makes me be mean too...cause technically she controls me. I do what she says." Ryan says
"Oh. I didn't know that.." I say
"It's fine." He says
"Anyway I want to be on your side. Remember that I am." Ryan says
I nod. He slips back out the door. Maybe he does have a good side.
