The next morning I ignore Ashley completely. I avoid eye contact with Ryan, he tries talking to me but I ignore him. I decide to take a walk through the park to clear my head. I hear boys playing soccer in the field.
"Julia!" Someone calls
I turn my head. Harvey and Max running towards me. I turn my head down to the ground and keep walking.
"Annie!" Max calls
I keep walking faster.
"Julia!" Harvey calls
I stop and turn around.
"Don't Julia or Annie me!" I yell
"What's wrong?" Max asks
"Why didn't anyone tell me that Harvey was going on a date with Ashley today??" I ask sternly
"Wait what? Harvey really?" Max asks
"I'm sore I didn't tell you..but once you really get to know her she's not that bad.." Harvey says
"Yeah right. Don't lie." I say
"Is that why you're upset?" Max asks
"Yeah! Because you two were talking about that yesterday!" I say
"No we weren't! I swear! I didn't even know honestly." Max says
"Whatever. Have fun on your date." I say and walk away.
When I get back home Ashley and her mom are gone. They went shopping apparently. Dylan's out with friends, Ryan's in his room. My phone blows up from texts from Max. And Harvey. I don't answer them. Someone knocks on my door.
"Who is it?" I ask
"Ryan." He says
"Come in." I say sighing.
He steps in.
"Yes?" I ask him
"What's up?" He asks
"Nothing." I say
My phone goes off again.
"Who's texting you?" Ryan asks
"Max and Harvey." I say
"Why aren't you answering them?" Ryan asks
"Because I'm mad at them." I say
"You told them you found out?" He asks
"Yeah. Harvey said Ashley isn't that bad. But the way I see her she is." I say
Ryan shrugs.
"Why are you being so nice?" I ask
"Because. My sister is a snob and I'm not." He says
I laugh.
"Maybe you should tell them how you feel." Ryan suggests
"Or maybe I can get revenge at the first day of school tomorrow." I say
"Julia don't." Ryan says
"Why? Let me have some fun." I say
"Fine. But I told you this was a bad idea." Ryan says
I nod. Ryan walks out of the room. I take my phone and open up messages.
Julia: revenge is sweet
Max: what?
Julia: you'll see.
Max: see what?
Harvey: what's she talking about?!
I put my phone down. I get up and wander downstairs. My dad is in his office. I sit down at the table and start making my revenge plan.
