Jack's POV
I sit in my room doing homework when my mom comes in. She sits down next to me on my bed.
"How's it going?" She asks
I shrug.
"Fine." I say
"Anything bad happen?" She asks
"Annie." I say
"What about Annie?" She asks
"She got into a fight today.. the new kid Max brought his old girlfriend down to make Annie jealous. And it worked." I say
"Oh wow." Mom says
"He doesn't like me, and thinks I'm a bad influence on Annie." I say
"Oh. So he likes her too?" She asks
I nod.
"Well who does Annie like?" She asks
"Both of us." I say
Mom nods.
"I just want something to call mine." I say
"What do you mean?" Mom asks
"You guys always have your attention on my sisters. I want something that only belongs to me." I say
"Honey, we pay attention to you." She says
I just nod.
"Well I have to go start dinner." Mom says
She pats my back and walks out of my room. I take a deep breath and continue working on my homework.
Max's POV
I lay on my bed staring at the wall. Harvey comes in, he sits down on his bed.
"You okay?" Harvey asks
"Sure." I say and sigh.
"What's wrong?" He asks
"Everything." I say
"Is this about Jack?" Harvey asks
I sit up.
"Of course it is! Why does he think that Julia is all his?" I ask
"He does like her too remember. When you like someone you get jealous when someone else is flirting with them." Harvey says
"Yeah but it's not fair." I say
"You got jealous too." He says
I sigh again.
"It's over when she picks someone." Harvey says
I nod. It's over when she picks someone.
Julia's POV
       I feel emotionally drained. I sit on my bed staring at the wall. I take deep breaths to calm myself down. Two boys really like me, and I really like them too. I decide to go for a walk to clear my head.
      I walk through the park, the sun is setting, the air feels cool.
"Hey Julia." Someone says
I turn around, Kim stands there.
"Oh hey." I say
"Can we talk?" She asks
"Sure." I say
We sit down on a bench.
"I'm really sorry about today. It was Max's idea. He was jealous of Jack. And how he liked you." Kim says
"That's how the game works... when you like someone and then someone else starts to like that person you get jealous." I say quietly
"Yeah." Kim says
"You're going back to England?" I ask
"In a few days. Max flew me down here for a few days. I'm staying at Max's." she says
I nod.
"And there's nothing going on between us anymore. We're done." Kim says
I nod again.
"I should get back. Thanks for letting me explain." Kim says
"Bye." I says
She waves. I sigh and walk back to my house. When I walk up my driveway I see Ashley watching out her window. I ignore her and walk into my house.
     I throw my clothes off and get into my pjs. Just as I'm getting into bed the door opens.
"Can we talk?"
