"...brrr...." Maine shivered as she stepped out of the little pool after the 'Challenge Accepted' gap. Ate MJ handed her a towel which she quickly used to dry herself and draped it over her shoulders. She clasped her hands together and brought them to her lips.
"....Ma, nilalamig ka?" Rj said as he followed her out of the water and dried himself. He noticed that Maine was shivering and her lips were turning purple.
He quickly draped his arm around her and used part of his towel to cover her as well. Together, they walked back into the dressing rooms.
"Mag shower na muna kayo....malamig dun sa loob...." Mama Ten reminded them as she pointed the two to the bathrooms that were on the side of the door to the backstage.
Rj assisted Maine out of her rashguard and leggings while she peeled his rashguard off him as well. They bathed together, soaping each other's bodies. When they were done, they got dressed and continued on with their work on the show.
Maine was feeling a bit light headed so Rj insisted that she nap first while he left for his rehearsals. "...tawagan kita later..." he said as he kissed her goodbye.
She napped as her temperature rose a little. Ate Pat took care of her and soon she was feeling a little better.
"O, Ma, kamusta ka na?" Rj asked when he called several hours later.
"...may konting sinat...." she replied
"Sinat?"
"Slight....malamig yung tubig kanina e...."
"Oh no....uwi ka na?"
"Condo...."
"Sige...puntahan kita later....patapos na kami....."
"Mga 8?"
"Okay....gusto mong soup?"
"Okay..."
"I love you..."
"I love you....see you...."
Later that evening, Rj came to Maine's condo as planned and he brought soup. Soon, they got ready for bed. They cuddled a little before Maine turned on her side.
"....malamig...." she said.
Rj reached for her forehead and confirmed that she was a bit feverish. She was also shivering a little bit. He hugged her and wrapped her with the comforter to make her feel comfortable. Soon, she fell asleep.
Rj quietly stood up from bed and got a cooling patch which he applied on Maine's forehead. He didn't sleep that night, he just sat beside her, watching her sleep.
