This started from a prompt given by @maminelle
I didn't know if I could write something like this as it's not like the usual genres I normally write.
Anyway, here goes nothing...

"Maine" Captain Albert Martinez called on Special Agent Nicomaine 'Maine' Mendoza.
"Yes Captain?" Maine replied. They worked at the Forensics and Criminal Investigation Department.
"Come have a look at this...weren't you involved in his case years ago?" Martinez pointed to the big white screen in his office which projected a criminal record of one suspect to a recent murder. A mug shot and other information about a suspect was flashed on the screen.
"...yes...he was sent to maximum security..." Maine replied after observing the file for a few seconds.
"Well...apparently he busted out when a fire broke out at the facility..."
"The fire a month ago? That's in the middle of nowhere..." Maine looked at Martinez, somewhat surprised.
"...three other similar cases to his have happened over the past months since that fire with no leads until now..."
"What do you mean?"
"...he still had family, right?"
"...when he was sent to prison, yes...it was because he said he was avenging the deaths of his parents..."
"...did he have siblings?"
"....wait, let me think...yeah, he had a brother or sister..."
"...Vanessa, our Faulkerson's sibling, is gay..."Agent Angelika dela Cruz came into the office to give Martinez some more files the latter requested for.
"...and if my memory serves me right, he was charged with killing several gays before..." Martinez said
"...and in a pattern..." dela Cruz pointed out. "...he left an inconspicuous mark on his victims..."
"...a bite mark?"
"...more of like a signature...02" dela Cruz said.
"...Anya...28 years old...asphyxiation due to strangulation...this princess seemed to be in the middle of a very passionate love scene when this happened..." Jerald Napoles, medical examiner, pulled out the tray with the body of "Anya" from the freezer. An autopsy had been carried out shortly after 'her' body was found still tied to the bed of a whore house in the middle of the city. "...and...I haven't seen anything like this before..." Napoles removed the sheet covering the midsection of the corpse. Its legs were slightly apart. Napoles grabbed the UV light from the nearby counter and shown it on the corpse's groin. An 'invisible' mark could be seen under the victim's genitals.
'55'
An hour later, Maine is in her office poring over files from past records of known serial killers. She tried to look for a pattern that was similar to the mark on 'Anya'. Martinez gave her the files of the three other recent victims and none of them had the 'signature mark' that her former suspect, Richard Faulkerson, Jr., left on his previous victims. This 'new' mark was a '55', Faulkerson's was a '02'. And Faulkerson always 'stamped' his on the victim's shoulder, visible for everyone to see. This '55' mark was unnoticeable to the naked eye.
