"Hmm...di pa naman....nakapagpahinga na kahit konti....why?"
"I'm hungry..."
"Hmm...you want me to call room service?"
"...we're in New York....madaming places dito are open 24 hours....."
"You want to go?"
"...but I'm sure madami pa ring tao sa baba...."
"Get dressed....we can sneak out naman e...."
"Paano?"
"Just walk straight, act normal....kung may pumigil eh di smile...."
"Tayo lang ha?"
"Yes....akong bahala...."
They noticed a small group of fans milling about the hotel lobby as soon as the elevator doors opened. Maine looked up at Rj who was standing behind her after hugging her from behind as the elevators made its way down from their floor. He smiled at her and gently nudged her to walk out. It was a typical scene of people going about their business so the fans hardly noticed them step out of the hotel. They walked up the block to a small diner which was tucked into a side street near their hotel.
"Wow! Nagawa natin yon?"
"Ang alin?"
"....nakaabot tayo dito sa diner ng walang nanggugulo...."
"Nagawa natin dati sa Como 'to diba?"
"Sabagay....pero sana magawa din natin sa Manila, no?"
"Nagagawa naman...."
"Sige nga? When? Eh biglang may lumalabas na pictures natin magkasama...."
"Yun lang....pero at least di tayo dinudumog....pics from afar nalang...."
"Sabagay...."
Maine, who sat across Rj in the booth they got at the diner, stood up and transferred to sit beside him.
"Bakit? Are you cold?" He said as he put his arm around her when she leaned against him as she sat down.
"No....I just miss this...."
"Ahh....sa room?...."
"Iba yon....Aren't you proud of me? Of us?"
"I am....you know I am....."
"I love you!"
"I love you more!"
