Chapter 6

GUISE I WENT TO THE HEFFRON DRIVE CONCERT AND KENDALL HUGGED ME SO TIGHT AND LOGAN WALKED AROUND HARTFORD TO DO LAUNDRY I WAS SCARED FOR HIS LIFE

      Chapter 6

    I stayed with Kendall for the rest of the weekend because he didn't want me going back to the hotel all sick. But then came Monday and I had to leave. "We'll get this sorted out, okay?" Kendall said as I got into the car. "Yup." I sigh. "Ok, be good. See ya later T." he kissed my head and Axel drove off

   "When do you want to tell Kara about your little idea?" Axel asks. "When we have everything sorted out because I do not need her flipping shit at me for however long this takes. I want to be able to say 'bye bitch' and never see her again." I state. It's true. "Alright, chill. I'll have this wrapped up by December." Axel smiles. I just want things to go back to the way they were 2 months ago. God, it's only been that long? It feels like forever. I'm never happy anymore. Doesn't my happines count too?

  "So did she see that Kendall freak?" I listened in on Kara and Axel's conversation. We got home around 7ish. It was now 11. "Yeah. She got pretty sick so she stayed with him for a couple days." Axel said. He sounded preoccupied. I quickly look and see he's reading some law book. Thanks Axel - note my sarcasm.

  "I don't know why she still talks to him. He let her go. If he really wanted her he would've fought harder for her." Kara says. She knows I'm listening. I march my ass out there. "He fought as hard as he could against your stupid little 'keep the family together' sob story! So fuck you! Because I'm going to live with him, and DCF will move me. Forget the judge. One call to them and  get changed in a heartbeat because technically, you abuse me, don't feed me very well - I'm pretty sure I've lost at east 15 pounds from being here.  And you're never home." I threat.

"I'm trying my best to keep this dead ass family together! And you being a whiny bitch doesn't help!" Kara yelled. Axel is doing something. I don't know what though. Just wait until I get a better look...

"There is no family! It's you and me and I'm sure as hell not gonna be stuck with you any longer!" I scream, and she whips her hand across my face. I fell to the floor and saw that Axel wasn't helping because he was taking a video of us. Proof I guess. "You're the one who broke us! It's you're fault dad died!" Kara screams. She grips my shirt. "It's. All. Your. Fault." she says through gritted teeth.

I never told you how he died huh? I didn't tell Kendall either. It's okay.

  Were were in the car coming back from the movies. I was 7 Kara was 15. Mom wasn't in the car, she was at work - what's new? Anyway, Kara and I were fighting - again, what's new? And I threw her diary out the window, just to piss her off because I was that child. Dad turned to yell at us for a split second, and then he collided with a car in the other lane. Kara's side took most of the impact. She wasn't hurt too badly, but my dad had gone through the windshield. I started screaming at the sight, sure my arm was bleeding from glass being stuck in it but, my father had gone head first through the windshied.

We were taken to the hospital. Dad was pronounced brain dead after 5 surgeries. He was a living vegatable. The doctors said there was a tiny chance of him coming back with a blank memory and pretty much blank brain. But my mom held that hope for a month. And that's where Sycamore Lake comes in. I hung out there after visting dad at the hospital. For 7, I was smart. Anyway, at the end of the month, we took him off life support. And he was pronounced dead. "Time of death: 11:11 pm." From that point on I make a wish at that very time.

   I don't tell people that story because it sounds dumb at first. And I feel bad. I never even told Kendall.

   Anyway, after she said that I was silent. Axel stood up. "Now that's a little far isn't it?" he says gently. "Stay out of this Axel!" Kara yells. "No! I'm gonna barge right in and get Tessa back to Kendall!" he finally stands up to her. "Get out of my apartment." she says angry, yet calm. "Okay, Tessa, grab your stuff. You're coming with me." Axel says. I run to my room, take everything she can't ruin and go right out the door with him.
