'Say morning, mommy...' Nick says smiling as Demi rolls onto her back and stretches her arms above her head.

'Morning, you two... What time did she wake up?' She asks reaching her hand out and gently touching the little girl's cheek as she smiles.

'Around 6ish. I gave her the bottle that was in the fridge, I hope you don't mind just thought I'd let you sleep.' He replies.

'Of course I don't mind. I've not slept that well in what feels like forever... What time is your show tonight?' She asks sitting up.

'I don't have one tonight... I was thinking we could ask Joe to watch Willow for a couple of hours and go out for dinner, it's been a while since we done that just the two of us.' He replies smiling as she lets her head rest on his shoulder.

'I'd like that. If you want to go back to sleep for an hour I could take her swimming?' She suggests.

'I'm fine. We can all go swimming if you want though.' He says and she nods her head.

'That sounds good.' She replies reaching her arms out. He smiles and passes Willow to her.

'Good morning, beautiful girl... You slept good last night.' Demi says smiling as the little girl cuddles into her shoulder.

'I'm gonna go get dressed.' Nick says. Nodding her head she leans up and kisses him before watching him go to the bathroom.

'Do you like that?' Demi asks smiling as Willow kicks her little legs under the water while Demi holds her.

'She's such a little water baby, isn't she?' Nick asks and Demi nods her head.

'This past week she's started proper loving bath time... Last night she was splashing and everything. It was so funny.' She replies smiling and as if on cue Willow starts thrashing her arms around.

'It's crazy how much she seems to have changed in only a week.' He says and she nods her head.

'What are we going to do today? I know we're going to go for dinner but what about before that? Do we want to do something?' She asks.

'I don't know, do we? I'm sure there is a park nearby or something. We could go for a walk?' He replies and she nods her head.

'That sounds good... Willow and I got papped yesterday.' She says swaying Willow from side to side.

'Really? Was it alright?' He asks and she nods her head.

'Willow stayed pretty hidden, she was fast asleep so she wasn't fussed by it. If I'd known they were there I'd probably have put her in the stroller.' She replies.

'Well we'll take the stroller out today.' He says and she nods her head.

'Why don't we take her upstairs and get her down for a nap while we have breakfast.' She suggests.

'Sounds good to me.' He says smiling.

'Why won't she go to sleep?' Nick asks as he rocks Willow in his arms.

'I don't know... Try patting her butt or something?' Demi suggests.

'It's not working...' He replies and she gets off the bed.

'Pass her here.' She says. She takes Willow into her arms and gently sways from side to side while rubbing the little girl's back. Within minutes her little body relaxes and she's fast asleep in her mother's arms.

'What the? I was doing the exact same thing.' Nick says.

'She's started this thing where she's just not cooperating with anyone but me.' She replies gently placing Willow in her travel crib.

'B-But I'm her dad.' Nick says and Demi sighs.

'I know, Nick. She's just being fussy because she's been used to me putting her down while you've been away.' She replies making her way over to him.

'It's only been a week.' He says as she wraps her arms around his neck.

'A week is a long time in a little person's world. She'll be fine by tonight, Nick... Don't worry about it. She's been fine with you otherwise, let you give her a bottle this morning.' She replies as his hands rest on her hips.

'I guess...' He mumbles.

'Now are we going to order breakfast and cuddle?' She asks smiling.

'Mmm... I think we should get Joe to keep Willow over night, I've missed you.' He says pressing his lips against hers.

'Nick... We can't.' She moans.

'Why?' He asks pulling her flush against his body.

'I've not got enough milk pumped for overnight.' She replies causing him to sigh.

'Ugh, that sucks...' He mumbles.

'Why don't we skip dessert at the restaurant? Book a table for 7 leave around 9 and pick Willow up at 10ish? That way we get an hour just us two to do as we wish.' She says smiling up at him.

'Mmm... Now that sounds amazing.' He replies.

'Go phone your brother and I'll order breakfast.' She says.

I realise I always end my chapters on pretty random places but I find it so hard deciding on a decent ending... How would you all like to see Nick propose to Demi? I've got a pretty good idea but I'd love your opinions.
