I apologise in advance for this chapter. It isn't my best and I know it's not but it was written at 3am when I was feeling emotional and missing my husband; I hope you enjoy it anyway and I will try make the next chapter a bit better.
'Hello?' Demi says grinning as Nick's face pops up on the screen.
'Hey, beautiful... How are you doing?' He asks.
'Good, how was the first show?' She asks wrapping her arm around Willow's waist as the little girl reaches for the laptop.
'It was alright. I wish you could've been here.' He replies shrugging his shoulders.
'It's weird being apart, isn't it? I guess we should've got used to be separate before you left.' She says smiling slightly.
'Only six days and you'll be here; you'll both be here... How's she been?' He asks.
'Good. She slept through last night which was amazing! We went for a walk with Auntie Marissa today, didn't we? She spoilt you rotten as usual.' She replies leaning down and kissing the little girl's head.
'I miss you both so much.' He says quietly and she nods her head.
'We miss you too. Home just isn't the same without you around... I'm just going to put her down, she's getting fussy.' She replies gesturing to Willow. He nods his head and watches as she lifts Willow and turns to sit her on the bed before turning her attention back to the laptop.
'How would you feel about performing with me while you're out here?' He asks as she moves some hair out of her face.
'I don't know, Nick. I don't think I'm ready to be back on stage yet. I've got so much more I need to do.' She replies and he sees her eyes flicker down to her stomach.
'You look amazing, Dems... But I understand if you don't feel comfortable with it. It was just a suggestion.' He says causing her to smile.
'I'll think about it, okay. Do you want to help me put Willow to bed?' She asks and he raises his eyebrows.
'I don't think that's possible, Dems.' He replies.
'Sing to her? I'll sit in the rocking chair and you can sing? She missed your singing last night.' She says and he nods his head.
'Okay then.' He replies smiling. She quickly moves the laptop so it's facing the rocking chair in the corner before moving to sit on it with Willow in her arms. She pops a pacifier in the little girl's mouth and glances up at Nick as he grabs his guitar and begins to sing.
'Here's to you, you were pink or blue and everything I wanted. Here's to you, never sleeping through from midnight till the morning. Had to crawl before you walked, before you ran. Before I knew it you were trying to free your fingers from my hand cause you could it on your own now, somehow.' He sings softly as Demi rocks back and forth while gently stroking the little girl's cheek.

'I am your biggest fan, I hope you know I am but do you think you can somehow slow down...' Nick finishes singing and glances back at the screen smiling at the scene before him; Willow's little fist is gripping tightly onto Demi's t-shirt as she sleeps peacefully.
'I sang that to her three times last night but apparently momma isn't as good as daddy.' Demi says smiling as she glances up at Nick before glancing down at their daughter.
'I'm sure that's not true. Give her a kiss from me.' He replies and she's pretty positive there is tears in his eyes as she leans down and presses her lips against the little girl's forehead.
'Mommy and daddy love you loads, little lady.' She whispers.
'Have you been okay then? I was pretty worried about you before I left.' He says and she nods her head.
'I've been fine, Nick. I know you sent Joe to check up on me yesterday.' She replies.
'I was worried and I'm not going to apologise for that.' He says causing her to smile.
'I'm not complaining; he brought pizza. I am fine though. Yes, you leaving was hard and yes I did have a bit of a cry but I'm okay.' She replies.
'How long are you staying for when you come out?' He asks and she shrugs her shoulders.
'I'm not sure. I've not got anything on. Might stay a week or so.' She replies.
'Okay. What are your plans for tomorrow?' He asks.
'I don't know. Marissa is coming over so we might go shopping or just go for a walk... I'm taking Willow to the gym in the morning though.' She replies.
'Don't you think she's a bit young to be working out?' He asks causing her to smile.
'Oh haha... I can't not work out for the entire time you're away, I'll end up going mad.' She replies.
'She'll probably sleep the entire time, Dems... Speaking of sleep, you look exhausted. I'm gonna let you go.' He says and she pouts a little.
'I hate going to bed without you, not having anyone to cuddle or you just holding me... I miss it so much.' She replies. Over the past six months they've certainly become very dependent on each other; rarely separating for more than a couple of hours at a time.
'You could've come with me... The offer still stands, Dems. Say the word and I'll fly you and Willow out as soon as I can.' He says as she sighs.
'I want to be able to do this on my own.' She admits biting her bottom lip.
'That's the thing though... You don't have to do this on your own; you're not on your own. I'm here and I'm saying that I would love nothing more than to have you and Willow by my side on this tour. The decision is entirely yours, think it over and let me know.' He says.
'Will we be able to talk tomorrow?' She asks and he nods his head.
'Yeah, I'll make time either before or after the show to all you.' He replies.
'Okay. I love you.' She says causing him to smile.
'I love you too.' He replies.
