The songs in this chapter are Slow Down by the extremely talented Nichole Nordeman and Look At Me, the Carrie Underwood version as I'm pretty sure there is other versions of that one, so obviously all credit for the lyrics goes to them both.
'This is crazy.' Demi whispers as she lies in bed holding the ultrasound picture above her head, her thumb lightly tracing around the outline of their unborn baby.
'Good crazy?' Nick asks sitting himself down on the edge of the bed and smiling as he watches her nod her head.
'Good crazy.' She replies.
'How are you feeling?' He asks.
'Awful... I've literally not moved all day.' She replies causing him to sigh.
'You've really got it rough, haven't you?' He says running his hand down her cheek.
'I'll be fine. Where's Willow?' She asks.
'Sleeping. Uncle Kevin tired her out.' He replies and she smiles.
'Thank you for taking her today... I'm just so tired lately.' She admits.
'You don't have to thank me, it's what I'm here for. Do you need anything? Some food or water?' He asks.
'Food would be good.' She replies and he nods his head.
'What do you want?' He asks.
'I don't know. Not eggs, nothing to do with eggs.' She replies, her hand resting on her stomach as the memory of breakfast comes to mind.
'Definitely not eggs.' He says; he'd made her an omelette for breakfast only for her to throw up at even the smile which meant he had to scrub the kitchen from top to bottom to remove the smell.
'What about pancakes? They have egg in them but you can't taste or smell them.' He suggests and she nods her head.
'Pancakes sounds good.' She replies.
'Okay. You just relax and I'll bring them up.' He says kissing the top of her head.

'Let's make it last a little while. I pointed to the sky and now you wanna fly. I am your biggest fan I hope you know I am. But do you think you can somehow, slow down...'
Nick leans against the doorframe as he watches Demi's fingers move effortlessly against the piano keys. Pausing she glances down at her stomach before smiling slightly.
'You should record that for your next album.' Nick says causing her to look up at him.
'Me? It's your song.' She replies and he shakes his head.
'It's yours if you want it. Sounds better when you sing it with the piano.' He says causing her to smile. Nick had been writing ever since Willow was three months old and 'Slow Down' had been the product of one very sleepless night; so far he had two verses and a chorus.
'You can add your own verses to it and change whatever you want but the song is yours, I'll probably never record it anyway.' He admits shrugging his shoulders.
