04. Heath to the Rescue

Heath's POV

"I'll go" I said since I knew Elton shouldn't go 

I walked over to the house and went to the closest room since I know that's the one she went to

That room just happened to be my room

I knocked on the door

"Go away" I heard her whisper

"You're in my room, princess. I'm coming in" and opened the door

She was face down on my bed crying into my pillows

"Heath?" She sniffled and looked up

"That's me" I said trying to lighten the mood

"How could he just leave?" I expected this "And take you with him" I didn't expect that

"You know everyone in this house. It won't be weird if you're here without us. Plus, you'd have this house all to yourself"

"I don't know anyone like you and Elton. You guys are my best friends" Not gonna lie, that kinda hurt, but not as bad as it would've if she called me her brother

"You're like a second brother to me" 

How about I just kill myself now?

Elena's POV

I know, I know. It's like "Elena, why did you call him your second brother? You like him"

You're right but I don't need him to know that 

"And that's sweet, Elly, but my point is that you'll be fine without us here" 

"What if I don't wanna be here without you guys?" I said with way too much attitude

"Honey, I suggest you bring that attitude down or I'll get in that RV right now and leave your ass here" He joked

I laughed

"Elton, I made her laugh! You can probably come in here now without getting murdered" He yelled

Elton came in

"Why are you in Heath's room?" is the first thing he said. He didn't even acknowledge my tear stained face

"Wait for it" Heath looked at me and said

"Oh, it's the closest one from the front door, isn't it?"

"Maybe he does know you a little bit" Heath laughed

"Anyway, I actually came here for a reason. I thought of a solution"

"Oh, this'll be good" Heath joked

"Shut up" I said, interested in Elton's solution

"So, we're taking an RV on this trip, right?" He said to Heath

"Yeah"

"So, there's enough room for one more person, right?"

"I guess" Heath said unsure of where this was going

I'm just as confused

"So that means that Elena could come with us if she wanted to?"

"Are you serious?" I asked, surprised

"No, I was just kidding. You're staying here" Elton said leaving
