Elena's POV
It's been about three and a half months since Heath and I told everyone that we were moving out
Today was the day we moved into the new place
It's not too far from the old house, so we can still hang out there without wasting a bunch of gas
In that time though, Heath and Elton decided to stop doing TFIL. They still want to travel but they both decided that it was fun but it's time for something new. They discussed having separate vlogging channels but neither of them have done it
"Are you excited?" Liza asked, grabbing another box. She was helping me put the boxes in one truck while the boys put furniture in the other one.
"Very" I laughed
"I was scared when I moved out"
"Yeah, I was scared to move away from home and to move here. But I've been wanting to move out of this house for a while, I just didn't bring it up because I didn't know how Heath would react"
"You guys are getting pretty serious, aren't you?" She smirked
"I mean, yeah I guess. Like moving in together is a pretty big step but we've been living together since I moved to California"
"You think you guys are gonna get married any time soon?"
"Not soon, no. Eventually? I could see it"
We didn't have time to talk about it anymore since the guys came back, saying they were done
"Food?" Scott asked
"Food then take everything over to the new house?" I asked Heath
He nodded
We all managed to fit in the same car. Maybe because David and Zane weren't here. I had no idea where they were
"We always go to Chipolte" I said when we pulled up
"I know, it's our last dinner together as a group since you're stealing Heath. So we're going here and you're gonna like it" Scott said
"We're still gonna see you guys, you know? We're not moving across the country. Just down the street" Heath said
"Shut the hell up and get out of the car"
We walked in to find that almost no one was there. Weird, it's always so crowded
We did our usual thing where Heath orders for me, he doesn't have to ask what I want anymore since I never change it and we literally eat at two places
"That's so cute. David has never done that" Liza whispered to me
How are people still thinking this is cute? Like, I know I did but I thought I was the only one
"Well, David is an ass" I laughed
The workers made our food and we took it to a table, the biggest table in the place to be exact
"To Heath and Elena" Scott said, holding up his water
"Oh god" I muttered
Thank god this place is almost empty
"To us" Heath said, looking at me and tapping our cups
I drank some and rolled my eyes
They're making such a big deal out of nothing
I kinda liked it though
I got free food so I can't really complain
Speaking of food, everyone's is gone so we left and got ready to move all of mine and Heath's crap
"Okay, I'm gonna drive this truck and Scott, you drive the other one" Heath said
I was about to argue and say that I could drive the other one
"El, I would say you drive the other one but you can barely drive a car" He said
"Good point" I got in the passenger seat of Heath's truck
"So, what do you want to do first in the new house?" I asked him
He seemed to tense up
"I think I have an idea" He said, still tense
I didn't mention it because I didn't want to upset him on our moving day
We got to the house in not even five minutes, I'm telling you. It's right down the street
It took about an hour to unload everything
Scott and Heath are slow
Eventually Scott went home and I decided that I needed sleep
"Wait" Heath said before I went up to our room
"What?" I turned around and looked at him
"I have something I wanna ask you"
"Okay" I said, a little scared
He came and stood in front of me and took one of my hands
"El, I love you and I can't think of spending my life with anyone else. I know we've only been dating for a little over a year but" He stopped and got down on one knee "Will you marry me?"
I was too in shock to speak so I just nodded my head
He let out a breath he must have been holding in and put the ring on my finger
"That's a hell of a way to break in the new house" I laughed before kissing him
