19. Savannah

Elena's POV

I knew about Savannah because after her and Heath broke up, he came to me crying. He said that she cheated on him. So why is she here?

That's what I was thinking as all three of us walking inside

"Heath!" It yelled while jumping up to hug my boyfriend

"Hi, I'm Elena" I said, stepping in front of Heath so she wouldn't hug him

"Yeah, whatever" She said while trying to side-step around me to get to Heath

"I'm Elton's sister" She still ignored me. 

Okay, gotta step it up

"I'm also Heath's girlfriend" That got her attention

"No, that's impossible. Heath wouldn't get a girlfriend. He's still in love with me" She said, confidently

Heath didn't say anything. He didn't defend me or say that he didn't love her anymore

Wow

"Maybe you're right" I said while leaving the main house and going to the other one

Heath and I share his room so I decided to go to Elton's room and lay down

I can't believe Heath didn't defend me. I can't believe he didn't say anything

Elton came in soon after I did

"I thought I would find you here" He said while sitting down next to me

I just nodded

"You know, Heath doesn't still love her?"

"Yeah, I heard him say it in there. Oh wait"

"Elena, stop it"

"No, you cannot tell me that I'm overreacting. That girl said that he was still in love with her and he didn't even defend me, or us, or our relationship. I have the right to be a little pissed right now"

"You have to understand why he didn't say anything"

I had enough. I stood up and walked back into the main house

"Liza, did you drive here?" I asked her, ignoring everything else

"Yeah"

"Get your keys" I said while walking out of the house

Heath didn't even move when I walked in

Liza came out soon after me. She didn't ask any questions, just got in the car and started driving

This is why I asked her. She's great

"Thank you" I said quietly

"Anytime, girl"

I smiled at that. I was so lucky to have someone like her in my life

"Where to?" 

"Chick-fil-a?" I asked

I knew she loved it, but could never have it since no one else besides me and her liked it

We got to Chick-fil-a and we ordered

Liza got her card out to pay but I put my hand over it

"You took me here, you're being such a great friend. I'm paying" I said seriously. It was the least I could do

We finished our food and I told her it was okay to go back home

We got home, well to my home, and I didn't even bother to go to the main house. I knew Savannah was still here since her car was still outside

I decided to just take over the couch, since Elton would be going to sleep soon and I didn't want to take over his bed just because I was having problems

I turned on Back to the Future and I guess I fell asleep, because soon enough, I felt arms come under me and pick me up

I was too tired to care about who it was so I just stayed asleep

I could tell that whoever it was, took me into Heath and I's room because the room smelled like Heath's cologne

I didn't really want to be in here but I figured that Heath would know I wanted space and take the couch if he saw me in here

Right after the mystery person put me down, I opened my eyes to see who it was

It was Heath

I thought he was going to leave the room, but he just went to his closet to get clothes, get changed, and come into bed with me

He laid down and turned to look at me, noticing I was awake

"Do you want me to go?" He asked

"No" I said honestly

"Are you tired?"

"Not anymore"

"Can we talk, then?"

"You know, I'm feeling pretty tired" I said while trying to turn over but Heath didn't let me

"Let me explain at least"

"Okay"

"I didn't say anything because I was shocked to see her. I knew she was here obviously, because of her car, but just to actually see her in person, I didn't know what to do. I haven't seen her in years and I didn't know how to react to her being there. I just didn't know anything. I'm sorry"

"Is it true?"

"What I just said? Of course it-"

"Not that. What she said. Is it true?"

"Of course not, Elena. Sure, I loved her at one point in my life, but I don't anymore. You have to believe that."

"I don't know if I can"

"Why? Have I ever, excluding today, made you ever question my feelings for you?"

He has a good point, he never has

He took my silence as a no

"Exactly. She's my past. But you're my future, Elena" He said so seriously

"Okay" I smiled. I trusted him, there was no reason not to

"We're good?" He asked

"We're good" I nodded

"Then come here" He said while opening his arms

Of course he wants a cuddle

I drifted to sleep not too long after my head hit his chest, but not before he kissed my forehead
