06. Jetboarding

Elena's POV

I'm excited to be on the road-trip, even though it's not my bucket list, it'll be fun

Right?

"Today we're gonna go jet boarding" Heath explained to me

"Whatever that is" I said

"You'll love it"

Elton was driving so there was a good chance of us getting lost

We drove around for like half an hour and then pulled up to a beach

Maybe Elton does know how to drive

"Who's paying?" Heath asked

"I drove here so not me" Elton argued

"But I'm the girl" I said when they both looked at me

"Fine! I'll pay! I'm such a gentleman" Heath said

"You were gonna try to make me pay"

"But did I?"

"Stop flirting and pay" Elton said

Yeah, I wish, Elton

Heath paid and we all got suited up to do the jet-boarding

"Do you all know how to swim?" The instructor guy asked

Elton and I nodded and Heath shook his head

"Do you really not know how to swim?" I asked, surprised

"No, of course I know how to swim" He tried to convince us

"Yeah, whatever. Let's just do this" Elton said with attitude

Why's he acting like jealous Zane?

"Well, that was fun, guys" I said, trying to lighten the mood

"I almost died" Heath said

"But you didn't"

"Shut up, Elly"

(oh yeah, pretend that they ended jet-boarding at night bc thats what i want. i dont care what happened in the video. its my book)

"How about we go for pizza?" I suggested

He looked a little convinced

"I'll pay"

"Let's go"

"What's in it for me?" Elton asked

"We'll go to one by a Pokestop" I said

"I'm in" He said

"I'm paying so I'm not driving" I said

"I drove here so I'm not driving to pizza" Elton said

"Heath is the one who wants the pizza so he should drive" I said

"I'm only driving if Elly sits in the passenger seat"

"Fine, but I get the aux cord"

"Fine"

We went back to the RV and Heath and I got in the front

Elton went into my room and took a nap on my bed since the pizza place we have to go to is half an hour away

"Here's your damn aux cord" Heath said throwing the cord at me

"Hey, hey. You're the one who wants me up here"

"Shut up"

"So, why were you and Elton in a bad mood after jet-boarding?" I asked after I put music on

"Well, originally I was fine and Elty was the only one in a bad mood but then he explained that it's so simple and anyone should be able to do it and then I got annoyed because he was right"

"Oh"

I didn't know what to say because I was a pro at it

We sat in silence, listening to music for like 20 minutes before we pulled up to the pizza place

I was about to get out, but Heath grabbed my hand, stopping me

"You know, I'm actually glad you came on this trip. It would be boring with just me and Elton" He said seriously

"I know" I winked and went to go wake up Elton
