I walked inside the large apartment building, only a few other people walking around or talking. I spotted the elevator, but stop in my tracks when my phone begins buzzing in my pocket.

I answer the phone, walking to the side as two women brush past me to get inside the open elevator. "Hello?" I answer, pressing the phone to my ear. I turn the volume down as I hear Kirsties excited tone reply.

"Hi! Are you almost here?" I rolled my eyes, "I'm at the elevator, Ms. Impatient. We literally talked on the phone in the car." I said as the elevator door closed.

"Sorry, sorry. I'm just excited! See you soon, bye!" Before I could reply, the line went dead. I chuckled as I turned off my phone and put it in my back pocket. I leaned forward and pressed the button, tapping my foot impatiently as I awaited for the elevator to come back down.

After thirty three long, torturous seconds, it dinged and opened. I walked inside, pushing my purse, yes, I have a purse, up my shoulder.

I pressed level four, watched it light up as the doors began to close.

"Hey! Hold the door, please!" Someone called. I held in an annoyed groan, but being the kind person I am, clicked the 'open doors' button.

The doors once again opened and in came a tall blond, holding a plastic bag in one hand and a cardboard box with holes on the top in the other. "Floor?" I asked, he scratched his forehead as he caught his breath from running.

"Six." He said. I pressed the button and the doors proceeded to close. Finally, the lift began to go up, ringing each time it went passed a floor. Right as we were about to reach floor three, it came to an abrupt stop.

"Seriously?" I muttered after a few seconds of stillness. "Dammit..." I said as the 'Emergency' began flashing, signalling that the elevator stopped.

"Looks like we're gonna be here for a little..." the blond murmured. I sighed as leaned back on the wall.

"Scott." He said, "Mitch." I replied. After two minutes of silence and annoyed sighing from yours truly, I felt my left eyes water.

"Are you okay? Your eyes are red." Scott commented. I forced myself to not rub my eyes, knowing that it would make it worse. "Allergic reactions." I said, noticing my nose get itchy.

"Whatre you allergic to?" He asked. I then noticed the bouquet of lilies in the plastic bag he held.

"Those." I replied, "I'm allergic to those." I gestured toward the flowers. "Ah, sorry about that" he apologized. Moving the flowers away as if that would help.

Just then, I heard a meow. My eyebrows furrowed together as I tried finding the origin of the noise. My eyes squeezed shut as I unexpectedly sneezed.

"Dont tell me you're allergic to cats too..." He said, I looked at the cardboard and groaned. "Indeed." I answered. I looked through my purse for the small container that held benadryl. I whined to myself as I couldn't find them.

"Why do you have a purse?" He asked. I rolled my eyes. As if this day couldnt get any worse, now I must take grief for my purse possessing?

"Why do you have a cat in a cardboard box?" I snipped back, he raised his non existing eyebrows. "Because they're cute." He answered.

"Because they're fashionable." I answered. I put my fashionable purse down as sat down too.

"Do you uh, wanna listen to music or something?" He asked as he sat down too. I shrugged. "Sure." He took his phone from inside the plastic bag and began using it.

I looked at the box and saw a tiny cat claw scratching at one of the holes. I looked back at Scott as M.I.A began playing. I smiled as I recognized the song and hummed along. After minutes of random songs on shuffle, including La Vie En Rose and Rap God, random unawkward conversation, laughing about meaningless jokes and celebrity Twitter beef, I head buzzing coming from the door. I smiled widely as the elevator began moving again.

"Praise the Lord!" Scott cheered as he stood up, his knee popping in the process. "Well. That was a good time." I said sarcastically as I stood up too and grabbed my purse.

"Yeah, for sure. Let's definitely do that again some time. Minus the ''stuck in an elevator'' part." He said. I chuckled with a nod.

The elevator reached Kirstin's floor and the doors opened with a loud 'ding'

"See you around..." I said as I walked out. "Hopfully not in an elevator next time!" He called out before the doors closed.

I walked down the hall of the apartment complex with a small smile despite being stuck in an elevator for a total of twenty minutes.

I reached Kirsties door, and before I could knock the door swung open and I helped a she yanked me inside.

"Were you peeking out of the spy hole?!" I asked. "Not important!" She said. "What happened?! I thought you were dead!"

"No worries, very much alive. I got stuck in the elevator with someone named Scott." She smiled.

"Blond?" She asked, I nodded. "Oh, he's nice. Were friends kind of..." she trailed off.

"Did you guys make out?" She Asked. I rolled my eyes and lightly hit her arm. "No. We literally just met...wait, but is he single?" I asked.

She scoffed but nodded.

I hummed and set my purse down as i walked into her living room.

"Intresting..."
