"Mitch, hurry up!" Scott yelled from the body of the stairs. Mitch groaned as he began rushing to finish his makeup.

"You're already beautiful Mitch, don't cake!" Scott added. Mitch chuckled breathily as he finished putting on a matte nude lipstick. He grabbed his phone and rushed downstairs.

"Ooh, your eyeliner looks good." Scott commented. Mitch smiled with a light blush to his cheeks.

"Okay so, the drive is like, five minutes away so don't complain about it being cold in the car." Mitch rolled his eyes but grinned anyway. Scotts random compliment seemed to be making his day.

After Scott and Mitch got situated in the car, Mitch biting his tongue literally to prevent himself from complaining about the weather.

After roughy four minutes of driving on the clear road, they made it to their destination.
Scott left his seat in a rush which confused Mitch, but he darted to his side of the car and opened the door for him. Mitch laughed as he grabbed his phone and, with Scotts hand, got out of the car.

"Aww, this house is so cute!" Mitch squealed as he looked at the small stone house with a beautiful set of flowers following down the bath, and what seemed to be a veggie patch in the garden.

Scott nodded with a smiled and walked up to the front porch. He rang the doorbell three times quickly and they waited for the door to open.

"Scottybuckets!" A high pitched, warm but kind voice yelled from inside.

The stereotypical granny voice.

"It's me, nanny!" Scott said as he opened the door. The old lady gasped and opened her arms for a hug.

"Oh, you're so big! Very handsome!" She said. Mitch was in awe of the lady.

She looked good for eighty eight. She wore a beautiful pink sweater and black sweatpants. She had a walker next to the couch but she seemed to be walking on her on.

The living room was quaint and warm. The fireplace was lit (it's lit) and the couch seemed like a therapists couch.

There was a beautiful white fluffy cat that sat on a comfortable chair to the right of the door, minding her own business as she laid like a beautiful queen.

"Oh my!" Scotts great-nanny said loudly. Mitch averted his eyes from the day over to the lady.

"You much be Mitch! Wow, what a pretty boy you are!" Mitch smiled as she wasted no time going over and hugging him. Scott smiled at the sight.

"Thank you! You're literally so beautiful, I'm amazed." Mitch replied. The nanny rolled her eyes.

"And you're quite the charmer I see. Wow, I'm honestly stunned. I never thought Scott would land a man like this!"

Scott gasped in fake shock but then laughed.
"I know right." Scott said. Mitch laughed but still shook his head in disagreement.

"Why...didn't I meant you when you were just a small boy?" She asked. Mitch nodded.

"Yes, yes. When I was ten years old I came with Scott over to meet you. I know he's been coming all the time throughout the years but our schedules kept colliding and I could never come. Although I do apologize."

She dismissed it with her hands. "Nonsense! I know you've been busy and I know the death of your sister has been a hard time. I apologize for what's happened." Mitch gave her a small smile.

"Now! I'd like you to meet Babychild." She said as she walked over to her cat. Scott laughed. "Did you really name her Babychild?"

She glared at her grandson. "Yes! Look at her, she's a Babychild." Mitch giggled as he pet the cat.

"Scott, get my walker, could you?" She asked. He nodded and handed her her the walker. She sighed as she used it to get back to the kitchen.

"This thing I swear, I'm as good as I was when I was thirty!" She mumbled to herself. Scott smiled at Mitch as he picked the cat up and held her close.

"I'm taking this cat. I'm kidnapping this cat." Mitch said as he hugged her. The cat purred.

"See! She agrees!" Mitch added. Scott just chuckled as he went back to the kitchen to his great-nanny.

I'll just call her Ruby.

"Nan, you shouldn't be listing all these heavy things." He scolded as she tried lifting a package from the floor to the counter.
"You're gonna hurt your back more then you already have."

"Scott Richard, I am eighty-eight years old, how dare you!" She said. Mitch snickered from the living room. Scott then pouted slightly.

"Put that lip back, boy!" She said. He stopped pouting and grinned slightly. Ruby laughed as she patted his cheek gently.

"You precious thing. Oh, I got something for you both." Ruby said as she slowly but surely got out of the kitchen. Scott made his way to the couch. Mitch instinctively went to go for next to him.

Moments later, Nanny Ruby came back out.

"Scott, I have this for you. It was my fathers. I always wanted you to have it, but I wanted to wait until you were old enough to know how important it is." She said, handing him a compass. He looked at it in awe.

"Whoa!" He said like a child as he examined it like a glory rock. Mitch giggled at him quietly as he watched.

"Oh, and Mitch, this is for you." She said, glancing at Scott once with a smile before handing it to Mitch.

Mitch gasped in shock.
"Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful." Mitch said.

"It was mine. I've had it all these years after Rider passed away. I really...really want you to have it."

It was a silver ring with a small diamond on top.

"Whoa, that's gorgeous. Can I see it real quick?" Mitch stood up to go hug Ruby as Scott held the ring.

"Thank you so much! It's the most amazing thing I've ever had. Except for Scott, of course." Mitch thanked as he hugged her.

She pulled back with a small smirk on her face.

Mitch was confused until he turned around and saw Scott down on one knee.
