Obviously, if I do make this a book, which I am probably going to do, this won't be apart of it. This is just kind of an ending to the oneshot. Although I could so make a part three, it's so fun to write.

"C-O-O-K-I-E"
Mitch signed. Scott smiled but signed 'no' on Mitch's leg.

Mitch whined loudly. He didn't really know how loud he actually was since he couldn't hear himself.

Scott and Mitch had become quite close after their first meeting. Scott continued to join Mitch in therapy since he seemed to be able to help him a lot with Jenna.

Jenna was able to teach Mitch how to sign a lot more along side Scott.

Although Mitch and Scotts conversations were limited since Mitch still didn't know a whole lot, they still bonded.

A weird thing they always did was sit in front of eachother and press there hands together and play with eachothers fingers. It was weird, but it's the most entertaining game they could play together.

Scott and Mitch went to different schools, Mitch went to a special school to help him learn, and Scott went to a normal public school since he could hear perfectly fine.

Someone Mitch was also best friends with was a girl named Kirstie who was deaf.

We have the mute, the deaf, and then the deaf and blind.

What a weird trio.

Scott was close with kirstie too, although Kirstie couldn't hang out all the since she did abunch of activities. Being deaf definitely didn't slow her down at all.

Scott grabbed Mitch's hand and frowned, pressing his fingers on his mouth.

Mitch stopped whining when he felt the frown. He still was humming with his mouth slightly open, though.

Sometimes he didn't even know he was making noise. He was humming a weird and eerie tunes since he didn't really know what normal ones sounded like.

But Scott loved it.

"Pretty" Scott signed against Mitch's leg. Mitch laughed loudly and used his own fingers to make himself smile just so Scott would know that made him happy.

Mitch could talk some, but only Jenna could teach him that since Scott couldn't speak.

Mitch could say a few words, but he still couldn't say the name 'scott'. For some reason he found it extremely difficult and when he did say it, it was weird and slurred.

Although he called Scott something else.

"Friend!" Mitch spoke loudly put his hands on either side of Scott's face with a smile.

Scott couldn't stop smiling as he heard Mitch speak. Mitch moved his hands around Scotts face and laughed again.

"Scotty!" Scott heard a slurred voice speak. He smiled and sighed against Mitch's leg, "Kirstie here"

Mitch clapped his hands and spoke and damaged version of the word 'yay'

The door opened and Kirstie sashayed inside.
"Hellwo!" Kirstie greeted, sitting down on the floor with the two boys. She put her hand on Mitch's leg to let him now she was here.

He placed his hands on hers and smiled at the familiar hand.

Scott waved at Kirstie and smiled.

"Owa you?" She asked. Scott signed 'good' and then raised his 'eyebrows' for her to answer.

"I'm gweat!" She replied. Mitch then made a loud noise and reached his hands out and made grabby hands towards Scott. Scott grabbed his hands and put his fingers against his smile.

"Friend!" Mitch said. Scott nodded and widened his smile. Kirstie then pulled her phone out and began browsing whatever social media she was obsessed with that week and leaned up against Scott's bed.

"Happy friend!" Mitch said again. Scotts never faded as the three continued to hang out in a weird way.

Mitch would randomly start whining and groaning, sometimes everything just made him frustrated since he tried so hard to be normal. But he knew he never could.

Oh, how wrong he was.

"What!?" Connie said in surprise, tears in her eyes. Rick, crying as well nodded with the most expressive smile.

"That's right, Connie...he's gonna see! Nel and and Mike just told me!" Rick exclaimed.

"He's the third person to do it! It's going to happen tomorrow!" He added. Connie squealed in excitement as she jumped slightly.

"Does Scottybuckets know?" She asked, already making her way towards the stairs.

"Nope, I wanted to tell you first. But you should go tell him! Kirstie is with him too!" He called out. Connie rushed upstairs to Scotts bedroom and knocked on the door.

He hit the floor two times, which was his way of saying come in. She walked inside and greeted Kirstie who was showing Scott her PowerPoint.

"Guess, I have some news!" Connie said, signing what she was saying so Kirstie could understand too.

"Uh?" Kirstie asked with a wide smile, wanting her to continue.

"Mitch is getting surgery tomorrow! He's going to see!"

"Story wowwying." Kirstie said to Scott as his leg was bouncing up and down quickly. She placed her hand on his leg to stop it.

"But what if it doesn't work? It's only a sixty percent chance it will. What if the Grassi's wasted all that hope?"

Kirstie rolled her eyes playfully.
"Don't wowwy. He will be good." She replied. Scott sighed and gave a slight nod.

Kirstie rolled her eyes as his leg began bouncing again.

"Mike and Nel Grassi?" A nurse called out, holding a large door open. The two practically jumped out of their seats an rushed toward him, anxious to see if it worked.

"I'm excited." Kirstie said simply.

"I haves a good feeling bout this." She added. Scott nodded with a smile, he did too.

Once walking to Mitch's room, Mike and Nel said a quick prayer in the way. The nurse told them they could walk inside, but the lights were dimmed just in case Mitch's eyesight did come back, he would be ultra sensitive to light.

Nel took a deep breath as she grabbed her husband's hand and twisted the knob and pushed the door.

And when they walked inside, Mitch smiled.
