Waking up

Caitlin turned on barrys lap waking him up he checked the time it was 7:30am he didn't want to wake Caitlin but she was already starting to wake up.

She woke up and looked up at Barry then instantly shot up "I slept on your lap" she groaned then blushed furiously Barry could feel there hearts speed up he wasn't sure who was causing it he guessed a bit of both them.

"I let you don't worry about it you looked vey peaceful" he countered

Caitlin checked her phone she had a text from cisco it said 'Dr.wells dose not want to come into work for the rest of the week he wants you to spend time with your soul mate and you should probably wait for people at work for stop talking about you two that reminds me you should probly tell your parents before they find out another way.'

'Thanks' Caitlin replied

"I'm not aloud to go in to work today due to yesterdays events I think my boss wants to spear me all if the publicity Ronnie should be at work by 9 so I will go pack a bag then go stay with my parents for a while and probably break the hole soulmate getting married in a month thing to them they will probably want to meet you so you could come round for dinner or..." Barry cut her off

"your not serious? why don't you just stay here with me after we are married in pretty sure we will live together anyway and don't forget it emotionally hurts to be a part before I found you yesterday I was really depressed and I know you were to so don't argue your staying here" Barry told her

"Barry I've known you for a very short amount of Time yes we might be soul mates and yes I'm depressed when I'm not With you But I cant come in to your home and start taking up space" Caitlin argued

"sure you can I don't mind you saved my life and you said it yourself not being with each other makes us both depressed so I'm going to come with you to your ex's house so you can get some stuff then we can go meet your parents then maybe you could meet Jo my foster father" Barry insisted

"Do you ever work?" Caitlin joked

"yer and I'm going to be late go get changed and you can come with me" Barry announced

Caitlin got changed within a few minutes her and Barry were out the door and on there way the Precinct the car ride was filled with light conversation about work and stuff when they got there it was 8:45.

"Allen!" The captain shouted "your early why? Your always late and who is this?" He asked looking at Caitlin

"uum Caitlin is here to help me with a case she has the week off so I thought she could help if it was ok with you" Barry said

"girlfriend?" He asked both of them Caitlin looked at Barry and shrugged

"kind off she's my soulmate" Barry showed the man Caitlin's mark on him.

"you have a soul mate since when?" He questioned

"since yesterday and we would really appreciate it if you kept this quite" Barry asked

The captain nodded "sure she seems like a good influence" he walked of but not before whispering

"no sex in the work place" there hearts sped up and Barry went red because she could tell It struck a nerve.

"Barry there's a sandwich shop down the rode I don't think I even need to ask what you want I will be back soon ok?" Caitlin started to walk away

"Caitlin" he called

"I don't have your number" she wrote it down then handed it to him.

"don't miss me to much" she teased

Barry laughed and watched her walk away he saved her number to his phone then texted her saying 'its your soul mate' then saying 'incase I wasn't clear before this is Barry'

Caitlin laughed as she read the texted 'i will be back soon' she replied

Barry herd faint heels walking into his lab he looked up and saw patty.

"hey Barry" she said softly

"oh hey patty do have some work for me or something?" He asked casually

"er... No I just wanted to talk to you" she answered

"ok what about" he asked

"I just want to say I'm sorry for over reacting like that are we good?" Patty apologised

"sure" Barry said not really caring for the conversation

"cool so do you wanna go grab lunch later?" She questioned

"patty I'm sorry we are good but I cant be with you anymore we can be friends But nothing more" Barry announced

"oh can I ask why?" Party snapped

And as if on Que Caitlin walked in "hey Barry I got us bacon and tomato sandwich's they where out of cheese though so just bacon and tomato I also got..." She trailed off and looked at patty

"hi" Caitlin said not knowing what else to say

"hi who are you?" Parry asked

"um...I-I" Caitlin stuttered and looked to Barry for help.

"this is Caitlin she's my... something" Barry admitted knowing patty couldn't keep a secret he put a hand on Caitlin's shoulder but took It off when he felt the loving feeling because he didn't want to get distracted.

"I'm patty nice to meet you" said the blond woman with a clearly fake smile.

"well im going to go do my job now and leave you two to eat your sandwiches without cheese nice seeing you" patty lied then rushed off

"what was that about?" Caitlin questioned

"patty came to apologise for over reacting then she asked me out I said no then you came in and you know what happened next" Barry explained

"I cant believe I'm asking this but what are we I don't want people to know we are soul mates just yet" Caitlin rambled

"well we are engaged but haven't kissed and I haven't given you a ring or anything either we have known each other about two days you have slept on my lap and we haven't been on a date unless you count falling asleep half way through the movie and we are soul mates not to mention..." Barry babbled

"I know I get it" Caitlin snapped

"ok I have an idea Caitlin Elizabeth snow do you want to go on a date with me tonight?" Barry grinned

"Barry Allen that is so corny and yes I would love to but don't forget I still need to get some clothes from my old apartment and we need to tell our parents" Caitlin stated

"ok so we will go get your stuff now tell our parents at lunch and go on a date tonight sound good I can just take the day off I finished everything yesterday so we will finish our sandwich's then leave" Barry bit in to his sandwich "I do love bacon and tomato sandwich's" he laughed

"me to" Caitlin added

After they finished there sandwich's and coffees they headed down to the captains office.

"hey is it ok if I take the day off me and Caitlin have some stuff we need to take care of and I have already finished all my work for the next 2 days" barry requested

"sure Allen you can have the rest of the week of come back on Monday you and Caitlin need to sort things out" the captain stated

"thanks" barry said then went to the car to meet Caitlin.
