new beginning

I swear I published this on Saturday

The young couple were both sat in the car staring at the star labs building "are you ready for this you know you still have time to change your mind"

Caitlin nodded "I want this barry"

He smiled at climbed out the car then hand in hand they walked into STAR labs.

Barry had to wait in the corridor while caitlin spoke to Dr. Wells he squeezed her hand reassuringly before she stepped into his large office.

"Arrr doctor. Snow what can I do for you?" He asked joyfully she looked down at her feet "its allen now" she mumbled "well that's great I'm happy for you but that not why your here is it?"

Caitlin shook her head "no" she sighed then pulled out her letter of resignation and put it on his desk "i can't be away form barry so I'm going to work with him at CCPD"

Doctor wells nodded "Well I'm happy for you I don't suppose there is anything I can do to make you stay" she shook her head "no there isn't anything I love him more then anything that includes this job" the middle age man nodded "Well then I wish you two the best"

"Thankyou" caitlin muttered then left.

When she saw barry his face lit up "are we ready to go Mrs. allen?" He teased "yes we are Mr.Allen" she giggled back.

When they arrived at CCPD they were greeted by the boss who exsplained the rules about taking time of work and all of that crap.

Caitlin sat at her new desk that had been put in there only two days before caitlin broke out in to a huge grin when barry handed her a box with a red ribbon wrapped around it.

"What's this?"

"Open it and see" barry replied smugly she took the box in her hands and hesitantly opened it "you didn't" she laughed then pulled out a metal triangle desk label with her her name written on it 'Mrs.caitlin allen' she kissed barry on the lips "thankyou"

"I told you working together would be great and now If anyone comes into our lab they will know that we are a happily married couple and that you are my amazing beautiful wife" he said wrapping his arms around her shoulders from behind her.

"And they will know that you are my handsome kind husband"

Someone shut the door rather forcefully behind them making caitlin jump she knew they had seen them and that was why she slammed the door.

"Barry can I talk to you for a minuet" the blond hissed he shot caitlin an apologetic look she just smiled shyly.

Patty pulled barry out in to the hall "what were you doing kissing her" patty snapped Barry shook he head "what Is your problem!"

"You are my problem your kissing another woman in your lab not long after we broke up" she all but shouted

"You don't know do you she is my soulmate patty she's my wife" he addmitted her eyes widened from shock "well I hope your happy!" She spat then stormed off.

Barry rejoined caitlin in the lab she had her hair pulled back a lab cote and glasses on she was testing some chemicals "what was that about?" She asked without looking up.

"Just drama over our past relationship it's nothing to worry about"

"Ok... speaking of exsplained if I'm officially moving in with you I want to get my stuff back from Ronnies later this week" she announced

"Ok Sure do you need me to come with you?"

She seemed to be thinking it over "umm you could wait In the car I don't think bring my husband to meet my ex fiancé is a good idea"

He nodded in agreement and they got to work on a few cases they were the perfect fit in all sorts of ways the things that caitlin couldn't do in the the lab barry could do easy and the things barry couldn't do caitlin could do without a second thought so they got the work done faster then expected

"Allen. Lady allen" came captin sings voice from the door "your needed out on the field a store has been robed the owners been shot" they both nodded

"I don't want you coming with me you could see some... nasty stuff" barry sighed

"But I want to come it's my job" caitlin countered "and it's not like I haven't seen nasty stuff before"

"Absolutely not cait please just stay in the lab" he pleaded with his wife.

"Barry I'm your partner and not just in the lab I'm your wife so I'm going to come with you and we're going to do this together just because I work here now it dosent mean you are my boss we are equal" caitlin said sternly no way was she backing down "and besides I want to make a good impression"

Her husband sighed "ok fine but you stay by my side the whole time you don't leave my side"

"Wouldn't dream off it" she mocked

He continued "don't touch anything suspicious don't..." caitlin cut him off "I'm a grown woman barry you may as well be telling me to not run with scissors and not talk to strangers" caitlin argued.

"Your right I'm sorry... I just won't forgive my self If you get hurt" he admitted then kissed her hands "you won't lose me I swear but we have to go"

"Good job Mrs.allen I've never known him listen to anyone not even jo" captin sing chuckled "I've herd that before" she mumbled

They arrived at the crime scene and barry pulled caitlin into his side when they arrived barry refused to let caitlin look at the body and made her look for clues else where which she had rolled her eyes at but agree.

Caitlin was walking around checking to see if she had missed anything when suddenly the hairs at the back of her neck stood on end and a cold metal object was pressed to her back "don't move" a dry voice whispered in her ear she could feel his breath on her neck and her heart rate sped up panic rose in her chest.

Barry stop what he was doing so he dropped  his equipment on the floor coursing everyone to look at him "caitlin" he breathed "allen?" Asked captin sign asked worried about barrys actions.

"We need to find caitlin she's in trouble" barry yelled so everyone could hear he needed to find his wife.
