•••NIALLS POV•••
Sarah and I drove home once everyone left the party.
Sarah was pretty tired from dancing all night.
I unlocked my front door and walked in to find my family asleep.
•••SARAHS POV•••
Niall and I walked up to his room.
His bag was thrown to the floor. He removed his jeans and shirt. A pair of gray sweat pants was slipped over his legs.
Niall came behind me and wrapped his arms around my waste. I placed my hands to his. I felt his lips lightly kiss at my neck. A smile pulled itself to my lips.
I felt him begin to lean to the side. Eventually I was pulled over to the bed, falling on top of my little Irish. We both let out a giggle. His arms snaked around me and pulled me close. His lips found mine.
"Niall?"
"yeah babe?"
"Who was that girl I saw you with on the magazines?" I couldn't just blow it over. I had seen magazine cover plastered with pictures of my boyfriend with another girl. We had gone through so much I had every right to think it was out of context. but I had to hear it from him. I had to hear his Irish tone say it.
"Don't worry about it. She's an old family-friend. Basically my cousin."
"Oh... ok."
"You know I'd never cheat on you right?" Niall angled his eyes down to mine.
"I know. I know." I slightly smiled.
"Good. Cause I could never replace the girl I'm in love with."
"I love you too, Ni."
His arms tightened around me in a warm hug.
"I've missed this so much." I whispered.
"Me too, babe." Niall kissed my forehead.
I had never been so happy to be so close to someone. There was nowhere I would rather be than wrapped in his arms.
Forever.
We slowly slipped away to sleep.
•••••••••••
The light from the bright morning sun hit my eyes as they began to wink open until I could see.
I felt Niall's strong arms holding my body firmly to his.
Our hands still held together.
I smiled at the thought that he was here. I missed waking up to his arms around me.
I missed the feeling of his toned muscle holding me so close.
I missed the lingering smell of his cologne he always wears.
I missed feeling his heart beat, the way he says it beats for me.
I missed hearing his soft snores when I woke up before him.
I missed his messy morning hair.
I missed my boyfriend.
And I missed my best friend.
Niall's hand tightened around mine. I turned my head to see him slightly moving around. He nuzzled himself into the back of neck and planted a soft kiss.
"Morning princess." The words mumbled into my neck. I was about to melt at that very second! there's just something about a guys morning voice that just gets me every time.
"Morning" I chuckled back.
•••NIALLS POV•••
My eyes remained closed as I rested my head against Sarah.
My fingers fiddled with hers. Suddenly I felt a cold metal around her finger. I grabbed it between mine and twisted it just a little.
A ring?
But then I remembered what it was.
A smile magically appeared on my lips.
it was the 'promise' ring I gave her a while back.
It wasn't a real promise ring, it was more just an ordinary ring to let her know I love her. When I gave it to her I told her not to wear it on her left hand like you would a normal promise ring. I wanted to wait until I got her a real one.
"I'll get you a real one someday." I told her
"You mean one I can wear on the right hand?" Sarah joked with me.
I chuckled "Yes. A real promise ring."
"You don't have to-"
"No, I'm going to!"
"Fine." She giggled and stuck her tongue out to me.
"And then someday..."
"Someday what?"
"N-never mind."
Sarah just shrugged. I wanted to say that someday I'll replace that promise ring was an engagement ring, but maybe she just isn't ready to talk about that yet.
Sarah is the only girl I've ever thought about really marrying.
Sure, I've had past relationships that made me think maybe we could get married, but with Sarah it's different. I'm not just thinking 'I could marry this one.' nothing like that.
'I'm in love with Sarah. I want to marry her. I want her to be my bride. I want to be her groom. I want to be the father to her kids. I want to be with her forever. I want Sarah to take my last name as hers. It's all i want.'
That's what goes through my mind. It's not i could marry her, like all the other girls, I want to marry Sarah. It's what I want.
•••SARAHS POV•••
Someday what?
All I could think was that he wanted to say someday it won't just be a promise ring but an engagement ring.
I didn't want to ask and be way off and just sound like I want to rush things.
And I don't.
Niall's only 20 and I'm only 18.
Well, almost 19. My birthday is in a few weeks.
But i'm totally, 100% committed to Niall. There's no one else in the world I would ever rather be with! and I would gladly marry him someday, but right now it's too soon.
Why am I even stressing over this, I don't even know if that's what Niall was about to say.
A few minutes into my thinking of someday being married to Niall, I found my self imagining our wedding.
All the lads there. With El and Perrie. Maybe even simon too, I know how close the boys are with him.
Then there would be my little cousins, I can just picture Callie, my 6-year-old cousin, a huge smile on her face when she meets the boys.
I was brought back to reality when Niall's phone let out a loud beeping sound. He reached over me to grab his iPhone. He let out a groan when he saw the screen.
"What is it, babe?" I shifted to face him.
"Management. They've really been on my case lately."
"About what?"
"Us."
