Well today has been going by just smoothly. Please do note my extremely heavy sarcasm. I would honestly rather be at home... Dealing with my abusive drunk father.
Donny was forced to switch half of his classes, and you'll never guess who gets the "honor" to now be having the same classes... If you guessed me, Emilia Styles, congratulations.
And to make it better, he either sits next to me, or directly behind me.
Right now we are in the class before lunch, English, and Donny is behind me, pinching my shoulder or the back of my arm every chance he gets. I'm sure if I were to pull my sleeve up, there would be a red mark and forming bruise.
"Could you stop?" I snapped. Turning around to glare at him.
"Where's your precious brother?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Believe it or not, we don't have every class together."
"What about your little boyfriend?" He asked with disgust.
I rolled my eyes again. "He's not my boyfriend. Now, if you don't mind-"
"Oh. I don't." He interrupted.
I glanced at the clock. Five minutes... I can do this...
I put my attention back on my English work again. We have to write a five page paper on what inspires us the most. Then a detailed reason why. Mine was so very simple. Music.
I was surprised that Donny left me alone for the rest of the class so I could do my work. Call me a nerd, but in those peaceful five minuets, I wrote two and a half pages.
When the bell rang I quickly packed up my things and walked out quickly. "Ready for lunch?"
I jumped and spun around quickly. "God, Ni. You just scared the shit out of me." I said, hitting his chest.
"Hey." He said poking my forehead. "You better watch that language little Styles." He said.
I groaned. "Please don't call me that... Harry is barely older than me." I said as we started towards the lunch room.
Sorry if I forgot to mention the fact Harry and I are twins... He's older than I am by only five minutes. Things always slip my mind... Forgive me?
"There's Liam." Niall said pointing in front of us. Liam was putting things in his locker. "Think he'll eat with us today?"
I shrugged. "Only one way to find out." I said as we got closer. "Hey Liam!" I called when I was sure he could hear me.
He looked up with a frown, looking for who called his name.
Niall and I waved our hands around like idiots. Liam spotted us and a smile replaced his frown when our eyes met. "Hey." He greeted us. "What's up?"
"Do you want to eat lunch with us?" Niall asked. "We're meeting the rest of the boys and the team there." He smiled.
Liam's shoulders fell. "Nah. I don't want to intrude. I'll jus-"
Niall cut him off. "Nonsense. You won't intrude on anything. We never turn someone away. Just ask Em." Niall says with a grin.
I punched his arm. "You're mean, and I hate you." I grumbled. I turned to walk away, but Niall grabbed my wrist.
I felt pain shoot through the spot. I let out a small yell in pain. I turned to glare at Niall and he quickly let go. "I'm so sorry." He said frantically.
"Are you okay Emilia?" Liam asked.
I swallowed down the pain and put a small smile on. "Yeah. Thanks." I said. "Come on. Everyone will be waiting." I said quietly.
We walked towards the lunch room. I looked down a my hands, and noticed a small spot of blood forming on my hoodie. I put my hands to my stomach to hid them from Liam.
I set my things down on the table after we walked in and grabbed Niall's arm. "Where are we going?" He protested.
I pulled him to an empty hallway. "Give me your jacket... please." I whispered.
"What? Why? What's wrong with yours?" He asked.
I held my arms out in front of me to show the spot of blood that got bigger. "Oh. Did I do that Em? I'm so sorry." He said sadly. "Here." He slipped his jacket off and handed it to me.
He walked me to the water fountain and helped me out of my own hoodie. "Thanks." I said quietly as he carefully helped clean the smeared blood off my wrist.
I put his jacket on, careful not to hit my arms roughly. I involuntarily took a deep breath in through my nose. "Let's get back to the boys, yeah?" He asked. I nodded. He stopped in the middle of the hall. "Wait. What are you going to do with your hoodie?" He asked, holding it up to me.
I took it from him and found a nearby trash can, tossing it in. "There. Now let's go. I'm hungry." I said.
We made it back to the lunch room, and I took my seat next to Liam and Niall. I smiled, seeing the boys have Liam fully engaged in a conversation.
"Welcome back." He leaned over to whisper in my ear.
A small shiver ran down my spine when his breath caressed my ear.
"Thanks." I smiled at him. "Hope you didn't miss me too much." I teased.
"Only a lot." He said. He winked at me before returning back to join the boys' conversation.
I sat quietly eating my lunch. I couldn't stop watching Liam. The way he smiled. The way dimples appeared at the corners of his lips. I found myself smiling when he smiled.
When he laughed, that was another sound of music to my ears. When he laughed, his eyes crinkled in the cutest way at the sides.
"You've got some drool on your chin." Niall whispered to me. "You shouldn't stare too hard." He chuckled.
I looked down, feeling my cheeks heat up. I looked at Niall, who had a smug look on his face grinning at me. "Have I told you that I hate you yet today?" I asked him chuckling. I can't stay mad at Niall... It's pretty close to impossible.
