Tate X the reader

When you left the classroom and joined Josh to eat with him you just realized what you did. You invited the weirdo to come to your training and you hoped more. You wanted a sort of date with him. Josh was waiting next to the door, his eyes began to shine when he saw you. You felt guilty, you could not continue to lie to him like that, that was not fair. Even more when you wanted to spend time with another guy. You smiled a little when he took your hand in his. He was so protective with you and nice. You didn't want to lose his friendship but you really had to do something. You didn't say a words during the lunch, you were thinking about what to do. Josh was to busy to admire how pretty you were to see that something was wrong.

"Josh I need to tell you something" you began hesitantly;

"Yes sweetheart what is it?" He looked at you with puppies eyes. No you really couldn't not break his heart.

"I don't love you sorry I can't bear this relation anymore I will destroy you we should stop" That's what you were dying to say but instead you whisper " Just that Tate will drive me to my gym training next Saturday"

Josh's reaction was more violent than what you expected.

"Are you kidding me Y/N?!!!!! Is it a fucking bad joke?!" he yelled at you. You were a little bit scare because even if you pretended to Tate that Josh's opinion didn't count which was actually true you were afraid when Josh was upset. He was never violent with you but you knew that he could hurt you if he wanted.

"Y/N! I'm talking to you!!! Are you kidding me?!!!"

"No I am serious Josh, I..."

"You what?! Will begin to hang out with that freak?! Why are you doing this, to prove to people that tolerant you don't have be friend with the weirdo!! Did you just lose your mind?!" Josh was screaming very loudly now and everybody was looking the both you like a TV-show.

"Could you just stop yelling at me I don't like that."

"Oh dear you don't like that!! And you know what I don't like you hanging out with this freak, you are mine not his!!! do you understand you do what I tell! And I forbid you to see the freak Saturday" He was still shouting at you. That upset you, after all you were free to do what you want you weren't his thing.

"Shut up" you told him. He froze and glanced at you, his eyes were full of hate. You thought that he was going to hit you. You were really afraid.

"What did you just say?" he whispered. His voice was shaking.

"I... I.. I ..." You hesitated, were you brave enough to repeat that to him. "I told you to shut up, I'm sorry for you but I do what I want. And actually I want to come to my training with him and you could not stop me doing that. And don't call him freak or weirdo in front of me anymore. Understand?"

Josh was shocked. You saw him clench his fist. You know that what you say was pretty stupid because it irritated him. But you couldn't help, you always have been free of your actions and you were interested by Tate more than by Josh. Josh finally opened his mouth

"You will regret that Y/N... no one ever told me to shut up and answer to me the way you did."

"Are you threatening me Josh?" Your voice was full of disgust. "I'm not your dog you can't talk to me the way you want!" He laughed, stopped, looked at you in the eyes and answered.

"Your my girl I talk to you the way I want and you should listen what I told you don't go to your training with him or there will be consequences..."

Was he serious? He was pissing you of, you wanted to punch him in his face but instead you told him "Okay I heard enough for today. You right as long as I am your girl I listen to you, but guess what I don't want to see you again." You stood up and began to leave Josh behind. You heard him scream: "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!!! COME BACK NOW!! Y/N YOU SHOULD BRING BACK YOUR ASS HERE NOWWWW!!!" You didn't even turn back to him, the only thing you could focus on was how much he was an asshole. When you arrived in front of your locker, you heard footsteps and felt someone grab your wrist. You turned yourself angrily ready to punch Josh but you softened when you realized who it was.

"Hey Tate what's up?"

"I should ask this question to you. Everybody just talks about what happen between Josh and you. Are you okay, I mean..."

"Don't worry, I'm good, honestly I could not be much happier"

"Why?" He thought that you were lying.

"I finally find the courage to break with a guy I don't love and Saturday and cute boy drive me to my training and I hope that we will do something else like going to a theater or a concert."

Tate brushed furiously and you could not help but smiled he was so adorable and shy. The bell rang and you kissed his check before going to your class. You left him alone hoping that it wasn't a dream.
