This one is for d-a-i-s-i-e-s sorry for the delay!! I hope you will enjoy this one! There is mention of abuse and suicide in it so don't read if you are not comfortable with those subjects

When you were young you had everything to be happy. You were living in New York with your caring parents. You had friends, good grades... you thought that everything would be like that forever. However you were wrong, the older you became, the more your parents hated each other. They argue about little things and you knew that sooner or later your parents would divorce. It happened when you turned thirteen. At the beginning nothing really changed, you were still living in your flat in New York with your mum and you spend your week-ends with your dad. But your mum was still young and beautiful and she soon met a man. He was a gentleman according to him and she felt in love with him. you met him several times and your mum was right, your step-father was a nice and caring guy. Nevertheless as he was working for an oil company and had an important job, he frequently had to move to different state. When you were sixteen, he had to move to L.A. and your mum agreed to move with him. he bought the infamous murder house not knowing the awful story behind the low price. You were sad to left your life in New York behind you but you saw this as an opportunity to have a fresh start. Plus you would come back in New York during the summer holydays to be with your father.

Soon your life in L.A. turned into a nightmare. People in Westfield high were so different from what you expected, girls were bitchy and boys just thought to sneak into your pants, they didn't see you as a girl with feelings but simply as a girl with who they can play. As you refused to have sex with them and were different from the other girls, people used to ignore you. You spend a lot of time alone in the library. Your life with your stepfather wasn't as tranquil as you thought it would be. He loved to much alcohol and was violent when he was drunk. Whenever he drank, you used to lock yourself in your room to avoid him and his excess of anger. The only person who cared about you at this time was Tate. You met him the day you moved in the house, he pretended to be a neighbor and helped you to decorate your room. You quickly became great friends. However something was wrong with his story and you tried several times to confront him but he always managed to avoid the confrontation. Eventually you succeeded to make him admit the truth. He was awkward when he told you all: his life, the killing, his death, his life as a ghost... he was convinced that you would tell him to go away since you would be disgusted by him and his past actions. But your reaction was the complete opposite. You thanked him because he trusted you enough to told you all his story and you revealed him a secret. "I will never tell you to go away Tate since I care about you more than I care about myself. I hate my life there but you always help me to put some color in my black and white world. I could never thank you enough for that Tate. You told me that your life in the house in full of darkness so I'll be your light in the darkness just like you are for me. I want to be there for you the way you are for me because... I... I... I love you Tate." When you said those words, he smiled genuinely. He kissed you just after showing to you his true feelings. You were convinced that with Tate's love in your life, everything would be better.

That was true for few weeks. You were smiling a little bit more and in your school some girls noticed that you seemed rather happy and open this past few days. They decided to talk to you and they integrated you in their group. And once you were home, you ran to your room to be with your boyfriend. Nonetheless that changed quickly. You still had your little group of friends at school but your life at home was a real nightmare. Even if Tate was there your stepfather was more and more abusive. You tried to stay strong but that was harder and harder. After weeks of this hell you just wanted to end your life. You talked about it with Tate but he refused to let you do that. He loved you too much to see you stuck there forever. Nevertheless he noticed that you were more and more depressed and he wanted to change that by all the ways still refusing your death. You finally manage to find the right element to convince him:

_ Tate you want the best for me and my life here isn't the best for me. The best for me would be to be freed from them and with you.

_ No Y/N it's not. Believe me you don't want to be stuck here forever, this house will trap your soul and this is a living hell.

_ My life is already a living hell Tate. And if I die, we'd together. If I'm stuck here I would be with you forever and I'll never have to leave you. thus it won't be a living hell, it would be closer to heaven.

He remained silent for minutes thinking about what you just say. He eventually told you to do the best for you and promised to be there no matter what your decision would be. He kept his promise as you fell asleep in his arms for the last time, seeing you closed your eyes for the last time of your human life. He took care of you when you woke up as a ghost and he cherished you for the eternity.
