You were in German class trying to understand what you teacher was saying about Faust but you couldn't focus on the lesson since you felt an eye on you. you thought that Todd was staring at you but you weren't sure. After all you had a crush on him so that was maybe a pure fantasy of your imagination. In fact you were probably the one who stared at him. When you entered in this new high school last year, you immediately noticed this cute guy with adorable dimples. You never told that to anyone even Erika your best friend. When she began to date Marty you thought that it was an opportunity to speak with Todd. However you two didn't speak much since Todd always seemed to avoid you. you didn't really know why but it hurt you.

Todd was trying to take note about what the teacher said but he was lost in his thought about you. every time he rose his head he could help but stare at you. You were all he wanted but he was unable to tell you that. He was very happy to see that Marty was dating Erika, to him it was a chance to become close to you. but obviously he was too shy to talk with so he avoided it and when you tried to speak to him, he was very awkward. He knew that it was completely stupid but he hadn't the courage to face you, he was too scared of being ridiculous. Plus you were smart, pretty, popular... so what a girl like would do with a complete nerd.

Erika was organizing a party for her birthday, no need to say that you were invited and Todd was too. You did your best to look stunning in your new dress. You wanted so much to impress and dance with Todd. You were quite nervous too what if he ignores you all the night. You came in Erika's house sooner, to help her to throw the party. Erika also help you to style your hair and do your make up. she knew you since you were a child so she understood that you wanted to amaze a guy. She asked you a lot of questions hut you refused to answer. She began to pout:

_ Y/N are you serious? I tell you all and you refuse to tell me that....

She frowned and intentionally pull your hair when she brushed them. you understood that she was sulking and she wouldn't stop until you told him. you sighed and admitted:

Later that night:

You were playing a truth or dare with your friends doing your best to avoid Erika's or Marty's questions. That was pretty hard since they seemed to have done a sort of conspiracy to make you admit your feelings for Todd. You were drinking your beer when Dave asked Todd:

_ Todd truth or dare? He didn't think twice before answering:

_ Truth

_ Okay... I know that you have a crush so is she playing with us?

Todd blushed furiously and glared at his friend. He nodded shyly and looked down. But Marty seemed unsatisfied by Todd's behavior.

_ I didn't hear your answer

Todd flushed even more and replied with a muffled voice:

_ Yes she is. Happy?

Marty and Dave laughed and nodded. The party goes on and the game too. You were proud of you since you avoided all the questions that could embarrassed you. however Todd's answer was running in your mind. You couldn't imagine that he had a crush especially if it was on another girl. You didn't know if you had to be happy or sad. You were lost in your thoughts when you heard Erika called your name.

_ Y/N you with us or are you thinking about a specific person?

_ fuck you Erika!

_ Finally you're with us! So truth or dare?

You didn't want to answer to a personal and awkward question. After all no matter which dare Erika would choose you could pretend that you didn't care and found it funny.

_ Dare. You said smiling confidently.

_ Hum... let me think... oh yeah what about a seven-minutes in heaven with Todd.

You wanted to kill her, slowly, painfully. You knew that it was going to be awkward. Marty locked you with Todd an left you alone for seven minutes or more if something happens according to him. you sat on the bed and he sat next to you. you were looking at the ground when you felt him stare at you. you looked in his direction and he blushed. He atmosphere was really awkward even more than what you expected. The fact that he had a crush on a girl at the party was obsessing you.

_ so Todd you had a crush on someone? You asked breaking the silence between the two of you. he looked very nervous.

_ Yeah. He whispered.

_ Can I ask you who is it? You absolutely wanted to know even if his answer would break your heart. He looked in your direction blankly and bit his lips. He was shaking and playing tensely with his shirt.

_ Why do you want to know? His voice was trembling. He wanted to avoid your question. Even if he dreamt to confess his feelings for you, he was convinced that you didn't felt the same way and your question was just pure curiosity.

_ I don't know... I just wanted to know. I mean even if we don't speak a lot I care about you so I was hoping that you would tell me...

He nodded and remained silent for few seconds before telling you:

_ You. I know it's ridiculous and you probably see me just as a friend but I... I... I like you a lot more than a friend. I guess that you don't care about me the way I do so please I just want to stay friend with you.

_ No I mean yes... I mean I like you more than a friend too and I don't want to just stay friend with you.

He cupped your cheeks and smiled at you widely. His lips brushed against yours and you kissed him. you were still kissing when Marty, Dave and Erika opened the door and screamed 'finally!" while the two of you were flushing deeply.
