Dean's POV

  I pulled away from Zerena and placed my forehead against hers. We were both panting from the kiss and wow was I happy.

  We sat there looking into each others eyes, the soft music and grasshoppers were the only sounds heard.

  "Angel?" I whispered.

  "Ya," she answered just as quietly.

  "Will you go on a date with me?" I froze, waiting for her to reject me and laugh at me.

  "Yes," she grinned.

  Wait what.

  I grinned back, "sweet angel," I sighed.

  "How many times have you watched Back to the Future?" She giggled.

  "I'll admit, I've watched the movie at least a couple hundred times... In the past month... Or week."

  She giggled some more and I placed a soft kiss to her cheek, "you have the cutest giggle."

  "Shut up," she blushed and lightly shoved my chest.

  "Why? Are you embarrassed? You are blushing," I stated.

  "I'm gonna punch you," she warned with a grin.

  "I'd like to see you try," I smiled.

  She went to throw her punch but I caught her fist and pinned her hands above her head and tickled her sides.

  She thrashed around and giggled hysterically. "S-s-st-top-p p-ple-ease," she laughed harder.

  "Zerena you know I can't take you seriously when you're laughing," I chuckled.

  "Y-your-re e-ev-il-l!"

  "I know," I laughed and leaned to kiss her again.

  Our lips moved in sync and I licked her bottom lip asking entrance. She answered by opening her mouth and I slipped my tongue in. Our tongues danced as I slowly sat up, bringing her with me.

  The music stopped and a throat cleared and we broke apart looking at the origin of the voice.

  "Shit," I mumbled.

  "What the hell do you think you're doing?" Seth was glaring daggers at me. If looks could kill...

  I tightened my hold on Zerena and we interlocked our fingers.

  "Seth, you don't get to control my life. I will date who I wanna fucking date and you can't stop me," Zerena stood her ground.

  "Date?! Who said anything about a date?!" Seth roared.

  "I asked her on a date," I said.

  "Why?! Why do you think that because I said you could take her to the dance you all of a sudden have a right to ask her out?!!"

  "Because it should be her choice who she dates! Not yours! Your her brother not her father! You should be there for her and let her make her own choices! And if she dates someone who breaks her heart then be there to comfort her! Don't scold her! Don't get onto her about how you were right and she was wrong! It's not cool!" I roared.

  Zerena started shaking in my arms and I looked down at her, "angel are you ok?"

  She shook her head," I don't want you guys to fight. Look Seth, Dean is right. You need to be my brother not my father. I'm sorry I didn't even talk to you about it but it should be my decision. I truly like Dean and might even be falling for him. Please don't stand in the way just to be stubborn and prove your point."

  I hugged her closer to me and placed my chin on her head. Seth sat down beside me and opened his arms to his sister. She crawled over him and he hugged her close.

  "I'm sorry that you feel that way. I didn't know I was causing so much trouble for you. I just want to protect you," he said.

  "And I get that, but you need to let me be free. And don't turn around and scream at Dean. He's your best friend for gods sake. Give him a break," she grunted.

  Seth chuckled and gave her one last squeeze before releasing her.

  "I guess your right," he stood up and pulled his sister up, "I do need to back off a bit."

  I stood up with them and Zerena instantly walked over to me. I hugged her close before letting her go and bro hugging Seth. I swung my arm over Zerena's shoulders.

  "Thanks man," I told Seth with full sincerity.

  "Now I'm gonna go. I want her home by eleven or you're dead," he warned.

  "Seth," Zerena and I warned.

  "Fine midnight," he groaned.

  I chuckled and she giggled at her brother. "He'll never learn will he?"

  She shook her head, "nope. But I'm okay with that."

  "Me too angel." I hugged her close and  we stayed there for awhile.

  I laid down and she laid beside me, her head on my chest and my jacket was being used as a pillow.

~~~
I walked Zerena up to her door and stopped. She turned to face me, leaning against the front door. I stuffed my hands in my pockets to keep from fidgeting and started swaying back and forth on my heels.
She smiled and looked away. "What?" I asked.
"Nothing, really. It's just...nevermind. Do you wanna come in?"
"Nope, spill," I grinned at her pink face.
"I just really didn't want this night to end," she muttered under her breath.
"Well no one said it had to. It's still only 10:45," I took her hand in mine and walked back to my car.
"Where are we going?"
"Home."
I pulled up in front of my house and opened Zerena's door for her. I took her by the hand and led her to my room. I tossed her a pair of my boxers and a tee shirt and she went to the bathroom.
  I texted Seth telling him that Zerena was over at mine and staying here tonight. He protested for a minute then accepted.
  She came out and looked as adorable as ever. I chuckled and commented on her looks, "you look adorable."
  "You're annoying with your compliments," she shot back.
  "Only if you don't like them. Anyway I texted your brother and told him that you're staying here tonight."
  She nodded and laid down beside me with her head on my lap. A comfortable silence came over us as we pulled out our phones. I checked my messages and she opened her book.
  "What are you reading?" I asked and started playing with her hair.
  "Keep that up and I might fall asleep mid sentence," she chuckled softly.
  I laughed at her, "anything for you, Angel."
  "Why do you call me that?" She asked.
  I shrugged, "it's suites you."
  She blushed and ducked her head. I turned her so she was facing me again and looked into her eyes. "Don't look away. Your face is to pretty to hide."
  "You're cheesy," she stated with a giggle.
  "Cheesy?! Angel I haven't even reached that line yet!" I laughed with her, "but if you want cheesy, you're gonna get cheesy."
  She sighed, "I brought this upon myself didn't I?"
  I grinned, "you know it."
  "Alright. Cheesy it is," she grinned back.
