"Okay okay. Here's one," I said still trying to gain my composure, "do you have a name? Or can I call you mine?"
She laughed even harder at that one.
I was still playing with her hair and she didn't seem to mind. I kept weaving my fingers through it and combing it. She just blushed every time she thought about it.
"Or is you name wifi? Cuz I feel a connection," I laughed.
She curled up and rolled over in laughter. Her face a crimson red and her eyes crinkled with laugh lines and her nose scrunched. She really was adorable.
My features relaxed as I gazed at her. Eventually she realized I was staring and her face softened as she stared in my eyes.
I slowly leaned down and she came up a little. Our lips brushed against each other and before it could go farther someone barged in my room.
"The party has arrived!" My brother Gavin exclaimed.
"Gavin? What are you doing here?" Zerena asked.
He looked over at us and you could see something click in place behind his eyes.
"I could ask you the same thing Carter," he shot back calling her by her last name.
She rolled her eyes, "always was the hostile one weren't you?"
"Only for you," he smiled, "so what are you doing here?" His eyes looked her over and a flare of jealousy washed over me but I suppressed it, "wearing my brothers clothes? In his bed?.... Wait are you two? Since when?!" He plopped on my bed and waited.
I looked at Zerena who was red from trying to hold in her laughter. I looked back up at my waiting brother.
"Since tonight. Sort of," I answered.
"Sort of?" He asked.
I nodded, "I haven't asked her to be my girlfriend yet but..."
"Girlfriend?" Zerena interrupted, "yet?!"
"Yes Angel. Yet," I clarified looking down at her.
"I never agreed to this."
"I never asked you about this."
"Oh...ya... Continue," she smiled at me.
I chuckled, "your adorable," I kissed her forehead before looking at my brother. "But I did ask her on a date next weekend and she didn't want to go home so I brought her here."
"And Seth is ok with this?"
"Well... He was hesitant at first but after a lot of yelling from all three of us and then some talking we worked it out," I smiled down at Zerena.
She smiled back. "Ah I see," Gavin said.
Realizing that he interrupted something Gavin quickly started backing out of the room, "well I obviously screwed up and interrupted you guys. So I'm gonna leave. Bye," and he sprinted out the door, closing it behind him.
"Your brother is one strange child," Zerena looked blankly at the closed door.
I chuckled, "I'm fully aware."
She looked back at me, "hey Dean?"
"Yes Angel?"
"If you could go back and change it so my brother didn't find us, would you?"
"Never."
"Why not?"
"Because if I did that then I wouldn't have you here right now. You'd be at home doing whatever and I'd probably be sleeping and/or thinking of you for like the hundredth time today."
She nodded, "but what if he didn't find us and this," she gestured to her and I, "still happened? Would you tell him?"
"Yes I would. But can we not talk about that right now? Seth seems the be here even when he's not," I dragged my hand down my face.
"Aw you poor thing. You must be so jealous," she cooed.
"Of what? Your brother?" I scoffed.
"You are!" She sat up and faced me.
I crossed my arms and looked away from her.
"Aw don't be that way Dean!" She begged leaning on my side.
I turned to look at her and my breath hitched at our close proximity. I only had to lean an inch forward and our lips would be touching. No... I gotta answer her question first.
"Fine," I grumbled, "I'm jealous of your twin."
"Why?"
"Because he's always around. He always has an opinion. He always seems to be here even when he's not," I threw my hands in the air in exaggeration.
"Dean..."
"I'm just annoyed with him, really. He just always has to give his nickel of thoughts or whatever the saying is."
"Dean..." She said a little louder.
"What?" I asked looking at her.
"Shut up," and she smashed her lips to mine.
I instinctively placed a hand on the crook of her neck and a hand on her waist, pulling her closer. I left her lips and placed feather kisses across her jaw and down her neck. She moved her head to the side giving me better access.
I nibbled at the sensitive skin by her ear and kissed it. She let out a soft moan that only pushed me forward.
I placed both hands on her hips and slowly pulled her towards me as I laid her down with me on top.
I brought my lips back to hers and bit her bottom lip gently, asking entrance. She granted it by opening her mouth more and I slipped my tongue inside.
I pulled away and placed my forehead to hers. Smiling at the fact that she was just as breathless as me.
"We should really stop before I physically can't," I told her.
She nodded slightly and grumbled an ok.
I chuckled and pecked her lips once more before I got up and laid back where I was before.
She curled up next to me with her back facing me. I wrapped my arm around her waist and drew her close before turning off the light.
"What are you doing?" She mumbled.
"Getting comfortable," I answered.
"Ya I don't think so. Seth would pitch a fit," she tried to move away but I tightened my grip on her.
"Who cares what Seth would say? He's not here so he can't say anything. Now shut up about Seth and go to sleep," I grumbled.
She sighed, "fine," she relaxed into my arms and so did I.
I planted a feather soft kiss on her temple and nuzzled my nose into the crook of her neck.
"Goodnight Angel," I smiled.
"Goodnight Dean."
