"Okay well I. The reason I was asking all these questions is because-"
"You know what? It's okay. I did agree to play 20 questions with you after all. So fire away and forget what just happened." I shook my head and continued swinging. He sighed in relief and then joined me swinging.
"Look the sun is setting." Luke pointed out.
"Oh shit!" I gasped and pulled out my phone from my back pocket. 6:30. Dammit; Miranda.
"What?" He asked. I got up and started walking home.
"I totally forgot about Miranda. We had agreed that I'd go to her house." I said over my shoulder.
"Oh." He looked down at the floor and stopped walking. I too stopped walking and turned to look at him.
"What's wrong?" I asked concerned.
"Nothing. It's just- I can't help but feel guilty for making you late and forget about you meeting up with your friend." He answered.
"Oh, no. Think about it this way: I had such a great time with you, that I TOTALLY forgot about Miranda. No, wait that doesn't help. Ugh, just don't feel bad." I said trying to make him feel better. "Here I'll text her and apologize, she seems nice and hopefully she'll understand."
I stood there beside Luke until Miranda replied saying it was okay and she almost forgot too. She was talking to Harry from what she told me.
"See look!" I said showing him the text. He smiled and we continued walking.
We arrived at my door and we grew quiet. Our goodbyes are always awkward . I get nervous and it's just really weird between us. I just stood there and fidgeted with my fingers.
"So I'll see you tomorrow?" I spoke up after minutes of silence.
"Yeah, would you like to come over sometime?" He asked me as I opened up my front door.
"Of course, I'll let you know." I smiled and He nodded. "I have to go with Miranda so-"
"I know. Tell her I said sorry." He cut me off.
"There's nothing to be sorry for." I stated. I gave him a hug, I don't know why but I did, and said bye.
"Bye Julie."

"Okay, Miranda what do you want to do?" I asked Miranda after we finished watching our second movie. After I went inside of my house, I had quickly called Miranda. We decided that she would come over to my house and next time that I'd go to hers.
We've been watching movies since she arrived and I had grown tired of watching these chick flicks.
"I don't know. What do you want to do?" She asked me.
"I don't know either," I sighed pulling out my phone and she did the same.
"Not to be nosey, or anything, but I overheard you talking to Maria about this Anthony guy in class today. Tell me about him. Is he your boyfriend?" She asked me looking up from her phone.
"No, he's not my boyfriend." I sighed.
"Oh, It seemed like it by the way you were talking about him." She said clearly embarrassed and a hint of disappointment was woven into her voice.
"Yeah sadly I can't call him mine, like you and Harry." I frowned.
"How is he?" She smiled, I could already tell how curious she was.
"Well I didn't talk to him until just recently. I've liked him for a while but honestly now that I've really put some thought into it, I don't know how he is." I said in realization.
