"Julie, you need to go out." Emily spoke through the phone. "You haven't gone outside in days."
"I'm perfectly fine in the apartment." I explained. She was right, I've been inside Marie's apartment for days. It's almost been a week. I never realised how much my life revolved around him until he was gone. Michael has been really distant with me after what happen last week and he asked me not to tell anyone.
"C'mon." She begged, pulling me from my thoughts. "You haven't been spending any time with me, since I've arrived. All you ever do is mope around, inside all day."
"I know and I'm sorry but I don't want to go outside. I'm afraid that I might bump into him."
"You won't." She sighed. "I heard he hasn't left his place either. So what do you say?"
"I mean, I guess." I gave in.
"Great, see you in a bit." She yelled before she hung up. I sighed and threw myself back onto the bed. I wonder if he thinks about me just as much as I think about him?
My phone buzzed in my back pocket, interrupting my thoughts. It was Ashton, I've been talking to him mostly, because he makes me less miserable and it wasn't him who said those hurtful things. I answered and put on my fake smile.
"Hey Ash." I said, trying my hardest to sound happy.
"Hey Julie." He spoke. "How are you?"
"Just as miserable as I was yesterday." I frowned, completely failing my act.
"Aww, Julie." He sighed through the phone. "Well why don't you come over? Calum should be here soon. We can watch a few movies so you don't feel as miserable? I mean it's only if you want to."
"Will he be there?" I asked quietly, afraid that he might hear me.
"No, I wouldn't make him come if you feel uncomfortable and especially with all the things that have been happening between you two." He answered and I sighed in relief.
"There's nothing between us." I immediately interjected.
"Julie," he sighed. "I don't mean it like that, but you should hear his side of the story and talk it out."
"What is there to talk about, Ashton? Everything he wanted to say about me was recorded in a video? A freaking video, Ashton." I snapped. "I'm sorry but I won't be able to head over today. Goodbye."
"Okay." He sighed. "Bye Julie."
Whenever that stupid video is brought up, the tears return like Niagara Falls.

"What?" I immediately snapped at Ashton. He was interrupting my week long FIFA marathon.
"How are you feeling?" He ignored me.
"Just as bad as I was yesterday and just as bad as I will be tomorrow." I spat. "Now what do you want?"
"You should really stop playing FIFA." He warned. What the fuck? Since when does he tell me what I should and shouldn't do.
"Listen Ashton, I can do whatever I feel like doing." I bit back. "If you're just calling me to bug me, then don't fucking call at all! Fuck off."
"I called her." He immediately interjected. A pang of jealousy hit me but I ignored it.
"What did she say?" My mode completely different.
"She isn't too doing well." He admitted and I felt guilty. I fought for her but obviously not enough to win her back. I should've broken my promise of leaving her alone, but that will only make her not trust me.
"Want to come over?" He asked.
"I'll be over in ten." I quickly spoke. "You have to tell me everything."

I've been at Ashton's house, focusing on everything that has been happening in her new life without me. After ten minutes of talking, a loud desperate knock startled us and interrupted our talk.
Ashton opened the door and we were surprised to find Julie's friend, Jessica with tears running down her cheeks.
"Luke?Ashton?" She cried. "I have to tell you something. Julie's in terrible danger."

"So what do you want to do?" I asked as I stepped into Emily's dorm room.
"I've been meaning to talk to you." She bit her lip and stuffed her hands into her pockets.
"About what?" I nodded and sat down on her bed.
"Well I've been hiding something from you and Luke for the past month." She sighed walking over to her closet. I nodded and she opened the door pulling out a deadly weapon, one that I wouldn't want to be associated with. "but I've been meaning to finally end it all."
"Emily!" I gasped jumping off the bed and over to the window.
"Surprise." She smirked and dusted off her gun. "I'm the one."
"You're the one that what?" I asked my breathing hitched as she lifted it up and pointed at me.
"I'm the one who sent those girls to record Luke." She smirked. What? She wouldn't.
"No." I shook my head. "You're one of my best friends. You wouldn't do something like that."
"Oh shut up!" She spat, rolling her eyes. "You're so naive and annoying with your kindness. I don't know what Luke sees in you honestly."
"Emily, why would you do that?" I asked, grabbing onto her curtains.
"Because I love Luke!" She yelled frustrated and I couldn't believe what I had just heard. "You don't deserve him, I do!"
"Emily." I shook my head and blinked away my tears.
"I made my parents move to America when I found out that Luke had a mystery girl." She shook her head. "We all knew that there was something wrong with Luke and that it involved a girl. He was miserable for three years. You made him miserable and I fucking hate you for it!"
"Emily, what are you saying?" I slowly moved back to the bed. "Please tell me you're joking and that this is all just some prank."
"NO! I'm in love with Luke, you stupid bitch. I have since I met him. One day he finally told us your name because we pressured him into it. I searched you up and found out that you lived next door to Luke as a child; that he fell in love with you but he had to move away. I made it my duty to destroy you because of what you did to him. The only way was by slowly becoming your friend. I was the one who sabotaged your UCL transcripts. I was the one who sent those girls to film Luke asking him about a completely random friend, but it was recorded perfectly so it looked like he was talking about you. We planned everything to bring you down, but what happened? Luke still fought for you." She spilled, fuming with every word she spoke. The fear inside of me grew as she came closer to me and kept pointing the gun at me. So she's the reason I'm no longer with Luke. I can't believe I fell for it, I belived random people when I should've belived my own boyfriend. How was I so stupid?
"Emily, you don't have to do that." I tried convincing her.
"Yes I do." She laughed evilly. "If I kill you. Luke won't have a choice but to look for someone else. I will be there by his side to console him."
"Emily," I shook my head. "I can leave."
"Leave?" She asked.
"Yes, I'll leave; I'll disappear completely from Luke's life." I tried negotiating.
"Where would you go?" She asked still pointing the gun at me.
"Somewhere far, far away from here." I pleaded. "But please let me go."
"Okay." she nodded. She looked down at the floor and I took my opportunity to try and pull the gun from her. I quickly wrapped my hands over the barrel and twisted it left so it wasn't pointing towards me. She grunted as she fought back. Her finger was still at the trigger and I was scared as I fought for my life. When I finally thought, no one would've ended up hurt, I was proved wrong because the gun just had to go off.
