♡ Thursday ♡

"Julie. Julie?" Someone gently shook me. "Julie, It's really late. You should go home, we've got school tomorrow. Come on."

Slowly I opened my eyes, adjusting to the light and noticed that it was Luke who was waking me. He smiled when he saw me looking at him and I returned the gesture. It's already Thursday and Luke leaves for Australia on Monday. Its been two days since the whole Anthony/lockeroom thing. As well as my movie night with Luke. And three days since Anthony stabbed Luke. Although it feels like its been weeks- no months, it's been nothing but mere days. I had another movie night with Luke and I apparently fell asleep watching our third one. I was still very tired and everything was moving very slowly. I stood up and immediately my head began pound, I quickly sat back down on the bed. He noticed my sudden change in features and quickly asked what was wrong.

"I suddenly don't feel to well." I stated. He nodded and went looking for his mom.

A few minutes he returned with his mom and brothers behind him. He explained what happened and they nodded. Mrs. Hemmings came close and gently rested her hand on my forehead. I still hadn't said anything since Luke left, it was like I couldn't speak. I just sat there quietly. Looking. She told Luke to head over next door and ask my mom if she could come. After Luke left to call my mom, Liz asked Jack to bring a wash cloth and some water in a bowl.

"Julie, are you okay?" Ben asked. He had three heads, literally, well at least he looked like it to me. I still couldn't speak and my stomach began to ache. I shook my head slightly and it only made the pounding in my head worse. My mom came in the room with Luke behind her. Then Jack came in minutes later, with the supplies that his mother had asked for.

"Julie, you're really pale. You okay?" My mom asked as she also placed her hand on my forehead. "You're burning!"

Liz then grabbed the washcloth from Jack, dipped it the cold water, and placed it on my forehead after she wringed it.

"Just lay down on Luke's bed and leave this on your head for a while. It should cool you down a bit." Mrs. Hemmings instructed, I obeyed and covered myself with a blanket, even though I know it didn't help to cool me down. They all piled out of Luke's room except Luke, of course.

"Julie you got me worried. When you got up, all the blood from your face drained. You were so pale." He sighed sitting on the edge of his bed.

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I tired again this time, succeeding. Although, I only got to say, "Sorry."

"It's okay, I'll let you rest. I'll be in the family room." He smiled and got up to leave. I quickly cleared my throat and spoke up to stop him from leaving. He stopped halfway out the door and walked back. I asked him to stay and he did what I asked. He slid under the covers and immediately wrapped his arms around my waist. I scooted closer and the washcloth slid off my forehead. I quickly grabbed it, placing it on my forehead before I nuzzled my head on the crook of his neck. In a few minutes I fell asleep.

(The next morning)

"Luke. Luke? Why am I still here?" I asked a sleeping Luke that was beside me. He stirred in his sleep before opening his eyes and looking at me. I asked him once more and blinked a few times before looking around the room.

"Well, I think after you fell asleep your mom and mine came in. They said something about you going out into the cold. Apparently, you were going to have to spend the night. I think that was it. Oh and we don't have to go to school today." He said slightly unsure.

"What about my sisters?" I asked sitting up. No school? Yay!

"Since your mom works today she dropped off your sisters at their babysitters house." He nodded.
