The walk

Natsu's Pov:

I wake up in the inn to find ice freak standing in front of me. I turn over and get back in the covers. "Up you get Pyro I don't wanna get Erza in here." Popsicle said. I really don't want her to come in. So with an emphasised loud sigh I hopped out of bed and went to have a shower before getting changed. I wonder how Happy and Lucy are right now? It's cute that Happy really likes her. I'm really glad aswell. Maybe I should tell her my feelings? No thanks I want to keep our friendship at least. I turned the shower on quite hot and jumped inside. At least we get to do some fighting at the village. I'm ready to beat the ass of some beasts!

After the shower I changed into my normal outfit and headed towards downstairs where they were serving breakfast. I could smell pancakes, strawberry, vanilla, oh wait that's just Luce. Seems like everyone is already down there. I walked down the creeky steps and sat down at the dining table beside Lucy. "Morning Natsu." She said with the cutest smile. "Morning Luce, morning Happy." Happy flew onto Lucy's head before shouting "Aye!" Lucy handed him a great big fish before handing me a plate of pancakes. A big plate of pancakes mmmm they look amazing. Gray was the first to speak "So Erza what time we setting off?" She turned to face him "Soon Gray." Before she looked back down towards her breakfast. We sat quietly before getting ready to leave the inn.

"Luceeee?" I begged. "Please I forgot to bring money, please pay for me." She laughed at me on my knees. "Okay Natsu but you owe me." I smiled and jumped onto my feet. "Owe you what?" I asked. "Hmmm I don't know yet I'll tell you when I find something." She replied. She is always so kind and nice. Another reason I love her. Happy then flew back into the room with his stuff. "You packed Lushe?" Happy pondered. "Aye!" She exclaimed before giggling. "Well we better go downstairs." I said before picking up Luce's bag and heading downstairs.

Lucy's Pov:

As we were walking, I decided to read another of the books based on Zeref. This one talks about how he created the celestial spirit king. 'The celestial spirit king was bestowed with pure light magic and control of the stars, Zeref hoping that it would destroy his darkness. No celestial spirit mage has ever been able to tap into this ability but it's possible for those who master the magic and know of the training.' I skipped through the pages in the book looking at pictures. Can I really do this stuff? I need to train with Loke. I read up and down the page looking at spells. 'Stars Barrage.' 'Light asteroid field.' 'Soaring Light.' And the final most powerful spell. 'Purity.' Under this spell it talks about how it has never been used even by the celestial spirit king himself. The reason the spell was never used is because nobody has ever had enough energy to perform the spell and there was a high chance their life would be lost. I need to learn all of these spells and prove I can handle myself.

As I continued looking in awe at how I could further extend my magic little did I see Natsu also glancing at the pages over my shoulder. That was until he spoke "Luce that's amazing, look how much you can do!" I jumped at the sudden announcement and turned to look at him. "Yeah, I definitely need to train, then maybe I can be as strong as the rest of the team." I smiled. Natsu's face turned to pure shock as he stopped as well as the others as they heard my statement. Natsu grabbed my shoulders and stared straight into my eyes. "You've always been strong Luce, stronger then me anyway. Never look down on yourself again, or you'll have to deal with 4 pissed mages plus two annoyed exceeds." Everyone nodded glaring at me as Natsu spoke these words. "Sorry." I muttered before I walked further in front of them.

Natsu's Pov:

"How long have we been walking!" Complained Happy. "Not much longer now Happy." Erza answered. "Hey buddy if you're tired hop on Luce's head." He did as I instructed and I giggled as she sighed. "I'm tired too y'know Happy." Lucy said. "Aye." Happy whispered before dozing off. They looked so cute. "Well Luce if you're tired too, guess I'll have to carry you." I exclaimed. Before she could even say another word she was on my back with Happy on her shoulder. Both leaning into me. "Arigato." They both whispered before sleeping on my back. My hands firmly placed on her ass again. "Giihii." I laughed.

"What you snickering at Pyro?" Gray asked. "Nothing." I turned my head to the side a slight blush as well as a smirk on my face. Gray followed his eyes down from my face, down my arms then to her arse. "Ohh Natsu, I can see why you like carrying her." He chuckled before continuing "And you call me a pervert."

We all continued to walk until we spotted the village not too far away. We all sped up wanting to get there before the sun goes down, as it was evening. The sky was painted a nice red and orange similar to my flames but at the same time had this golden glow like Luce's. Finally we stepped into the village, it was quiet but still had an atmosphere. The lacrima's all lit up round the village as night dawned upon us. "Lucy time to get up." Wendy said poking her behind me. "Hmmm." She murmured. I placed her on her feet as she opened her eyes. They landed on the village. She took the sleeping exceed off of her shoulder and cradled him in her arms. Well let's start the mission...
