Natsu's Pov:

I woke up to the sound of chatter. I looked around from my position on Lucy's lap without moving my head. I looked to the opposite side of us to see Gray and Erza grabbing our things. "We here Erza?" I whispered. "Yeah. Will you wake Lucy up?" She replied. I don't want to though she seems so peaceful. "I'm going to let her rest for now, I'll carry her don't worry." I answered. She nodded in return as everyone began picking up their stuff.

I exited the train alongside Wendy, who smiled at me as I got off the train. "She looks so peaceful." I heard Wendy mutter before she continued to walk with the others. I carried her bridal style as we walked through the village. Erza stopped us as we reached the town hall of Clover town. "So Erza what's the game plan?" Gray asked. "Well the actual village we need to protect is a good walk from here but I don't want to risk crossing the woods late at night. It's already 6pm now so let's just find an inn and get some rest." Erza replied.

We walked through Clover Town searching for the inn. I put Lucy on my back as she quietly slept. It was very busy and lively, it gave off a warm vibe. Lucy, Happy and I trailed through the north of Clover Town. Well Lucy didn't she was still peacefully dreaming on my back. My hands placed firmly on her ass 'geehee.' Happy flew above the crowd looking at the buildings as we walked by. Once we found nothing we started to head back. Following the lampposts as it began to became dark.

We stumbled back into the main square where Gray, Erza, Wendy and Carla were waiting. "Did you find the inn?" Happy spoke. "Yeah it's at the south of the city, we actually walked past it on the way here." Erza replied. "Well let's go then." I whispered trying not to disturb Lucy. "Aye Sir!" Happy exclaimed as usual. The walk there was quiet as we all examined the towns beauty as we walked around the dimly lit streets. The town was painted with smiles and laughter. It was comforting. I felt Lucy snuggle into my back as she began to murmur in her sleep. "N..nats.u..." Lucy whispered in her sleep.

I smirked as Gray looked back at me. "What you smirking at Pyro?!" "None of your business Ice Princess!" "Grrrrr." Did I just here a growl? Oh no. "Will you two shut up Lucy is sleeping!" Erza shout whispered. Eventually we found the inn and walked inside. It was decent sized, enough to room us all, but I think I might have to borrow some money from Lucy this time. I didn't bring money for a room! Erza walked up to the lady at the counter. She had short platinum blonde hair with a washed out denim jacket and some black jeans. "Hello, how may I help you?" She asked. "3 rooms please." Erza answered. Once the rooms were payed for Erza pulled us away from the desk.

"Wendy, Carla and I will share a room, Gray and Natsu will share a room and Lucy can have one with Happy. Agreed?" Erza asked. "Yeah..." I wanted to be with Lucy. Happy that sneaky neko!

Lucy's Pov:

I woke up in a room, guess we're staying at an inn tonight. I sat up and looked around to see Natsu and Happy coming towards me with markers. "NATSU!" I yelled. "Shit Happy she's awake, run!" Natsu exclaimed. Natsu bolted out of the room while Happy flew up to me and laid beside me. "Aren't you going to follow Natsu?" I asked. "Nah, we're sharing a room Lushe." Happy replied. I'm glad about that actually I wanted to get closer to Happy. "Well since I'm really awake do you want to explore Clover Town Happy?" I questioned. "Aye Sir!" And with that he flew me off of the balcony and to the main square. "We could've walked you know Happy." I giggled. Happy shrugged and we walked around all the shops.

Surprisingly they were still open. Well it's only like 7:30pm. "Hey Happy?" "Yeah Lushe." "Out of you and Natsu who does all the chores in your house." "To tell you the truth we usually wait til you come round..." "Oh." I laughed. "Wait, Happy look." I pointed out a restaurant. "You hungry Happy?" "Aye!" We stepped inside as I got a table. We sat down across from each other. A small waitress with long turquoise hair approached our table. "Hello, can I take your order please?" She smiled. I nodded "Can we please have 5 plates of fish for my neko and I'll have a burger and fries please?" She nodded after noting it down and stepped away.

Happy's Pov:

'My neko.' I smiled so much when she said that. Did she really think of our relationship like that? That makes me so happy. I want her to be my 'mum.' I flew over and sat on her lap as she began to stroke me, I purred in delight. That would mean her and Natsu. I snickered and Lushe looked at me. "What's wrong Happy?" Lushe asked me. "You said my neko, and since I'm also Natsu's that means..." I smirked at her while she blushed. She rubbed the back of her neck. "I know you like him Lushe." She sighed after my statement. "Don't tell him please." I nodded "but you should tell him soon Lushe." She nodded aswell. That's when our food came.

Natsu's Pov:

After the marker incident I went back to mine and Grays room. We brawled, talked and unpacked what we were gonna use. I told him about the marker incident and he just laughed. "Hey Gray wanna go into town for bro time or do you want to get some of the others?" I asked. "Well I know you want Lucy to come so why don't us three and Happy go out." He answered. Wait he knows doesn't he. "Was it Mira who told you I had a crush on Lucy?" I sighed. I knew I shouldn't have told her but I needed to know what the emotion was and understand it. He blinked countless times before focusing again. "No but you just did, don't worry though it was obvious." Gray replied. Obvious!

After our conversation we walked towards Happy and Lucy's room and knocked. No answer... Weird. I then used a spare pass to unlock the door. "Lucy? Happy?" Gray and I spoke. No answer. "Could they be in the bathroom?" Gray questioned. "Let's check." I said. "Wait! What if she's naked!" Gray quickly spoke. "Not like we haven't seen her like that before." I shrugged, and I wouldn't mind again... Natsu calm down! Omg my mind is going places and it needs to not right now. Gray snickered as my hand touched the door. "What Gray?!" I yelled. He laughed again. "Natsu your compass is pointing north." "What?" I looked down and I had a boner. Omg I'm so embarrassed. I'm never going to live this down. Why did I put jeans on to go out in?!

Once we finally opened the door nobody was there. Where were they? Our eyes then travelled to the open balcony window. I was starting to get worried. "You don't think anyone climbed in here do you flame brain?" I shivered. "I hope not." I exclaimed as we jumped off reaching the ground. I smelt her and Happy close as Gray followed in hot pursuit of me. I came to a stop abruptly and turned my head to the side. Just then Gray bolted into me pushing us both on the floor. "Don't just stop like that idiot!" "Well look where you're running ice princess!" And that was the start of another brawl.

Once we were done we looked to where Happy and Lucy were. Happy was sat on Luce's lap purring as she stroked him. She was talking to him about something but I could only pick some things up with my dragon hearing. 'I know you like him Lushe.' Like who? Who does she like?! However then they were interrupted when their food came. Thank god they're safe though. Gray and I nodded before joining them inside. It was a nice meal out together before the mission. We should probably go to bed early so we can get up though. I don't wanna face Erza's wrath.
