Lucy's POV:

I approached an entrance upon the cobble path. A powerful dark magic aura devoured the atmosphere from inside. I grew closer til I pushed on the doors allowing myself entrance. Pin drop silence echoed throughout the corridors. The lack of light caused me to use my other senses but it felt like nothing was here but yet everything was here. Nobody was there yet I could feel their presence. As I walked along I formed light around my closed fist. Giving me short distance sight to observe my surroundings.

"Where are you Zeref?" I muttered quietly to myself. As I ventured down the corridors I came across a room. The room filled with books upon books, covering the walls. I grabbed them and put them into my bag. Light magic, demon magic, everything of use I could find went into my bag. I found an extended version to my abilities and dove deeper into my newly found magic traits. I was going to be stronger for everyone. I quietly put on my speed reading glasses and memorised the books contents.

My own light continued to guide me around the gloom filled place. I felt the darkness engulf me upon every step. I stopped in my step as I heard the ear piercing scream of someone I hold close to my heart. All cautiousness abandoned, I sprinted towards the sound becoming lost as it echoed down the corridors. I manoeuvred myself around the place locating his position.

I came upon a door, the door a dark oak colour, red metal lining it and giving it a demonic look. The pattern symbolising death, as skulls and weapons aligned it. I felt an attraction pulling me towards it. So I gently pulled on the handle, glancing inside to see...

Erza's POV:

"Where could she be!" I exclaimed.

"You don't think she went after..." Gray started before I interrupted "Of course she did!" Uhhhh.

We need to help her, where did she go.

"I could try and follow her trail, it's faint but I'm sure I can follow it." Wendy exclaimed.

"Let's do it!" Gray answered.

We packed up all the gear we had and set off through the forest once again, with one less person then we started with. Happy seemed very upset, as he probably misses both dearly, especially since the two are in danger.

With the sun in the sky once more, the path through the forest was lighter then at sunrise. There seemed to be nothing around. Everything looked untouched, like nobody had ever passed through. If she was walking throughout the night it might take us a while to reach her, that's if she's even stopped. Everyone including myself had a grim face. We didn't understand what was happening, and all we could do was try to help.

"Erza do you think they'll be okay?" Happy asked sadness evident in his tone of voice.

"I'm sure of it Happy, you know how strong both of them are and together they're even stronger." I cheerfully said hoping to lighten my own mood as well, as I was also concerned for their wellbeing.

"Aye sir!" Happy said before flying with Carla and gaining speed to reach them faster.

Gray seemed too concentrated to talk to and Wendy was still trying to follow the scent. "This way." She continued before leading us in another direction.

Lucy's POV:

Complete darkness. That's all that I could see. I made the light on my hand shine brighter to illuminate the room but as soon as I did I regretted it. Faces of demons I was familiar with and some not gazed at me from each corner of the room. The door slammed behind me as I became face to face with the dark mage.

"Lucy Heartfilia. So nice of you to join me and my friends upon this fine occasion." Zeref sarcastically spoke. "Well as you might know I have finally been reunited with my brother Natsu. Finally I can use him as my most powerful demon." How dare he take Natsu like that!

"If he is or he isn't, I don't care it wasn't his decision to be taken and I ain't hell letting you change him into his apparent demon form!" I shouted boldly towards Zeref. My hand glowing with power and my glare showing the hatred I held upon them.

'Light asteroid field.' I muttered quietly, as balls of light adorned from the heavens, causing explosions to occur around the building. The spell so strong even reaching out further around the village. The ground shook as the demons who weren't injured charged at me. I summoned Loke beside me, as I used my fists gathered with light as a weapon, similar to Lokes regulus power. Loke glared as the asteroid spell continued to take place and looked beyond angry. Yet he continued to fight beside me.

Suddenly black magic shot towards him, piercing his stomach and returning him to the celestial world.

"I WILL NOT LET YOU GET IN MY WAY! NOT AGAIN, YOU WON'T GET YOUR HANDS ON HIM SO STOP TRYING!!" He let out with anger as his dark spells clashed with mine of light. My eyes scanned the room before landing on a chained up Natsu. My asteroid spell finished as Zeref and I initiated a battle, his demons watching cautiously. My anger fuelling my magic and my second origin filling with my celestial magic. I'm not giving up.

Wendy's POV:

We were trekking towards Lucy before we could feel a large amount of magic power engulfing the entire area. Balls of light magic rained down upon the area. We could feel the familiarity of the magic and sprinted towards the magic presence we could feel. Lucy was using one of those spells again. It was larger then the last one and it also meant she was fighting. We could all guess who.

We reached a scorched village as the light gradually faded and was replaced with that of a dark aura. Light vs dark. The battle between them had started, as we rushed towards both as fast as we could.
