The transformation

Natsu's POV:

My eyes widened at the sight of Lucy outside of my cell. She looked beyond pissed, she looked like she could kill someone. The demons in the room ran forwards to attack her but before they could she used a new spell. Why the fuck is she using the spells I told her not to?! "LUCY STOP!" I shouted but the explosions from the magic drown out my voice. She spared me a glance but turning back towards the fight. "Please Luce..." I whimpered as I dropped my head. I was scared, no I was terrified, she was going to kill herself.

The cell I remained in was scorched from the magic, I tried with all my efforts to break it but I couldn't. I was still too weak. I'm just so glad that she is still alive, I should never doubt her. Loke appeared beside her and lit up his regulus similar to the magic surrounding Lucy's hands. He also looked beyond pissed, but at Lucy for using the spells, for risking her life to save mine. Once all the demons lay on the floor, Zeref removed Loke from the battlefield with concentrated dark magic. He reached for Lucy with pain and fear in his eyes before disappearing in a golden light.

"I WILL NOT LET YOU GET IN MY WAY! NOT AGAIN, YOU WON'T GET YOUR HANDS ON HIM SO STOP TRYING!!" Zeref let out with anger as his dark spells clashed with Lucy's of light. The aura of the area was so strong I had to hold my head. He released a burst of large dark energy, shit I was going to get hit. I attempted to move out the way but the chains held me in place. I closed my eyes preparing for the impact, that never came. As I was surrounded by the same light shield Lucy used to cover herself.

Lucy's Pov:

As he released his magic I protected both Natsu and I. "I knew you'd protect my brother." Zeref murmured whilst gazing straight into my eyes. "You're eyes they are gold." He said before regaining his battle position. My eyes are gold? Well I can't let him have all the fun. I held my hand above my head "Soaring light!" I shouted as I pushed my hand facing for him. The magic acting similar to a dragons roar that the dragons slayers used.

The wall collapsed from it's power revealing the outside and a row of destroyed trees from the spell. I started to feel weak from the spells I'd been using. Zeref struggled to stand up outside the walls but did. In his hand the book of END. "No." I whispered to myself. I turned to Natsu who stared at me, his eyes holding anger, fear, sadness but also care.

The rest of team Natsu ran into the room, as Zeref read the spell from inside. I ran, I had to stop him, I punched him with my light but he continued, I couldn't use one of those spells not yet. Zeref's eyes turned black as he continued to recite it, the rest of team Natsu joined in attempting to hit him and stop it from happening. Gray stared at the book in absolute disbelief and anger. Attempting to destroy the book and not Zeref. "Gray stop, you can't destroy the book!" I shouted over the use of everyone's magic.

"I need to destroy this demon for my father Lucy!" He retorted.

"The demon is Natsu, you'll kill him along with END!" I cried at him to stop, he withdrew his attacks before aiming again, luckily in Zeref's direction. Sadly, he finished the incantation and black magic shot in the sky pushing everyone a good distance away. Zeref hit me with a large amount of dark magic as I tried to get everyone away from that shooting into the sky. I flew into the building, I could feel a crack and blood dropped down my arms. But I had to save Natsu.

As I said that, his scream was heard from inside the remaining infrastructure. I scaled the remaining ruins of it's side and found Natsu in his cell. The cuffs were gone, he remained on the floor holding his head, it darted up to meet mine.

His eyes were dark red and held nothing but hatred. Black marks began to cover his arms and two large horns jetted from his head. His screams died down but his breathing grew heavy. His body shook as two blood red wings sprouted from his back, his aura pure black and his demonic features causing me to shake.

Tears rolled down my face as I beheld the person I loved in front of me.

Natsu's POV:

I watched behind demonic red eyes, like a mirror. Lucy stood before me, tears rolling down her cheeks, she looked broken, blood dripping down her arms. I tried to reach out to help but I couldn't. She brought gold up in the palm of her hand before stepping backwards in fear. Team Natsu now stood behind her, staring in fear and sadness that END now stood before them.

I was powerless, I couldn't stop or control him. Zeref was watching from a distance, staring proudly at the demon he had created. My body moved on it's own, dragging off the door of the cell and lighting my fist with a mix of black and red flames. They drifted up my arms as I lunged towards Lucy, who used a shield to block the attack, it shattered on impact but prevented the power. She was still hit and glided along the ground using her hand to come to a stop. Ezra re-equipped into the armour her second origin unlocked, hitting me with one of her swords. It disintegrated at my touch. Gray's hands shone blue with his ice make magic but his demonic side covered a side of his body in black marks. His eyes holding fear but hatred at the same time. I know he wanted to kill END. I tried to reach out to stop myself attacking them but I couldn't stop his attacks on them. I watched in absolute fear as I threw them around like rag dolls, releasing blood and screams each time. Tears rolled down my cheeks, I was going to kill them.

"PLEASE STOP!" I screamed.
