The END?

Natsu's POV:

I couldn't move, think, talk. I blanked out what everyone was saying, as I just focused on the girl in front of me, the girl I was deeply in love with. Blue shot in front of me with speed, as Happy dove into the blonde girl's arms. Tears dripping from his chin, dropping onto the ground beneath her. Erza and Gray panicked running over to her, Gray put his head onto her LARGE chest to check her heart beat. At any other moment in time I would've killed him.

I finally snapped out of my trance, my knees dropping to the floor as I crawled over to her, wallowing and sobbing. "Is s-she?" I spluttered out, awaiting the question that would ultimately be my life. "I can't find it!" Gray screamed panicking as him and Erza threw Lucy's arms around checking for a pulse. Wendy ran onto the scene, her blue hands hovering over Lucy's body as she shook in fear of what she would find. "Her magic aura is too large I can't examine her, her magic has taken over most of her body." Wendy choked out. I picked her up bridal style, "lets get back as soon as possible." I commanded and jogged back through the forest, the team following shortly behind.

Lucy still had a golden aura around her from the magic she had just used. Her pale face shone in the sunlight which was quickly fading away. Zeref was gone, my demon side was gone but was Lucy? I would've given my life for her to live on, why did she do this?! I never got to marry her, have children with her, a future with her. I just need her to stay in my life because if not, mine is pointless. The nightmare of me hurting her continued to play through my head as my grip on her tightened. I used dark magic on her, hit her away from me, said horrible stuff to her.

"Natsu wait!" Erza called after me. I turned to see her in a magic car. "Lets go!" she said as we were pulled into the vehicle.

"Erza, your magic is too low, let me take over." Gray offered.

"I can do this Gray, I will get us there as fast as I possibly can, we have to save her!" Erza retorted.

Why did she use that magic? Why didn't she stop?

"Because she loves us Natu, she loves us all so much, she was prepared to give her life. Did I kill her Natu?" Happy spoke. I pulled him into the tightest hug I could, Lucy in the hug with us as we held her and eachother. "No buddy, Lucy would do anything for you." I comforted him sadly as I must've said my last thought out loud.

We sped through the forest passing creatures, beasts without a care in the world, as we were all focused on one person. The capital wasn't far from here but nightfall was dawning upon us, as the orange and pink from the sky reflected Lucy's face. She still had a glow and held warmth, I knew she would never quit fighting or give up. I leaned down and pressed my lips upon hers, a few stray tears streaking down my cheeks. Her lips still soft, I opened my eyes and lifted up, getting sad looks from the rest of the team. She doesn't even know that I'm in love with her, I was stuck behind a demon.

The edge of the forest was approaching us as above the trees we could see smoke from the capital. Erza put her magic into full effect as we crashed through the forest entrance. We got onto the pavement catching the attention of the castle guards but Erza didn't really care right now, as she sped right past them and head towards the castle. Wendy used a lacrima and told Cheria to head to the capital as soon as possible. When we approached the castle we skidded to a stop to be surrounded by castle guards at the gate. Erza jumped out the front, "It's Fairy Tail!" I heard a guard shout. Hisui rushed out the castle gardens to meet us, as we ran inside begging for assistance.

Many magic medics rushed towards Lucy analyzing her. "I've never seen anything like this." I heard one mutter. "Is this celestial magic?" They all pondered her condition. "IS SHE ALIVE?!" I pleaded in agony. The medics all looked at one another as they could not see or analyze her current condition. They looked at me and could not provide me with an answer.

All of a sudden Lucy's glow grew in size, as nobody was able to look at her, as her magic grew at an enormous rate, it felt like we were being crushed under the pressure of her magic. In the large hallway, stood the Celestial Spirit King. "My friends, nobody has ever survived the use of such magic, I cannot guarantee she will survive or if there are any side effects, but I've never met anyone with magic so strong. However I must try to obtain some of this magic before it takes over her body, and definitely kills her. She has limited time bring her out to me NOW!" Everything turned hectic, as we bit our nails, the celestial spirit king attempting to save Lucy. The doctors still examining her.

"HER HEARTS STOPPED!" A medic shouted. The celestial spirit king began to sweat as the power radiating off her was over powering his own. He tried to absorb all he could. Hisui sat beside him, joining him as she is a celestial mage. Wendy sat beside them trying to heal Lucy's wounds with her magic. Everyone attempting to save her. I ran up to them and held Lucy's hand to provide her warmth. "Everyone is with you Lucy." I whispered to myself. Kissing her hand lightly. "She's alive." The meds cheered, as her pulse returned and became close to a normal state. A smile dawned upon her face.

We were allowed to stay at the castle overnight, as we were placed into the kingdoms special bedrooms, usually for other royalty. Lucy and I shared a room with Happy. My arms around the both of them, as I could finally think properly for myself. The medics informed me that she was still very sick and from the overuse of magic and having some taken away she also had magic deficiency disease. Yet she was still with me. I could finally sleep, the nightmare was over but the pain I caused her was still playing through my head. The last thing I told her was that I hated her. Will she hate me now? I tried to kill her, and she died because of me. Everything was playing through my head but I would eventually drift to sleep. My arms around Lucy with Happy snuggled between. "I thought I'd lost you both." I whispered as I gently placed a kiss on both of their heads.

Finally a chapter, it's been a long time since I've put one out, sorry guys. Starting college is a lot busier than you think. I'll try and bring the next one out as soon as possible. :)
