"Kellin, baby, you're not going to die." Vic says reassuringly.

"You don't know that." I say.

"You're going to be fine." My mom adds. "If worst comes to worst, we'll put you under every single blanket we own in this house."  I nod and lean into Vic's warm embrace.

"Can you get October for me?" I ask my mom, pointing to the small cat bed in the corner of my room. She stands up and grabs the kitten and brings her over to me. "Thank you." I whisper.

"You're welcome." She says, kissing my forehead before standing up again. "If you two need anything, just call. I'll be in the living room." She states then leaves my room.

I sigh and run my fingers through the soft, orange fur of my cat.

"Are you warm enough?" Vic asks me.

"Yeah. For now, anyways." I tell him.

"If you get cold, let me know. I'll get you more blankets." He says. I nod and smile in thanks before cuddling more into him.

A few moments of silence pass before Vic's phone starts ringing. He reaches over to my table and picks it up.

"It's Mama, want me to put it on speaker?" He asks me. I nod and he answers it, putting it on speaker.

"Vic? Are you and Kellin okay?" She asks as soon as he answers.

"Yes, we're both fine." He answers.

"Keep the boy warm. I wouldn't want anything happening to him!" She states.

"I'm okay Mrs. Fuentes." I tell her through Vic's phone.

"That's good. Just, keep safe. I'll call you when the power gets turned back on. Bye, boys." She says.

"Bye." Vic and I say in unison before he hangs up the phone.

"Your mom is so cute." I say to him.

"Not really, but okay." He says.

"Whatever." I say, falling back into my mattress, Vic soon following.

Four hours later and the snow has finally stopped falling, but Vic and I are still in my bed.

"Dude, it is seriously only four." Vic groans.

"It's been such a long day." I whine, putting my face into my pillows.

"It really has." Vic agrees.

"Boys! The power is back on!" My mom shouts from the living room.

"How?" I ask.

"No idea." She shouts back.

"Oh. I'm not complaining." I say, shrugging it off.

"I'm shocked. I wasn't expecting power for at least over night." Vic says.

"I was too." I say.

"Oh well. Wanna watch a movie or something?" Vic asks.

"Uh, yeah sure. Pick one." I say, pointing to the shelf full of movies by my t.v. He gets up and looks through the shelf.

A few minutes later, he grabs one and puts it into the player.

"What'd you pick?" I ask him while he gets back into my bed.

"The Breakfast Club." He says.

"Ah, what a classic. I used to watch it with my dad all the time." I say quietly, turning to look at my boyfriend. He notices me looking at him and turns to stare into my eyes. He smiles at me then slowly starts to lean in. My eyes flutter closed as I, too, start to slowly lean in.

When our lips connected, I felt the same excitement I felt when we first shared a kiss. It was really soft and filled with, what I'm assuming is love.

"Happy thoughts, okay?" He says when we pull away.

"Happy thoughts." I say back. He nods and pulls my body closer to his. I sigh and rest my head on his body, turning all of my attention to the movie.

That was actual trash. I should've just added it on to the last chapter. I've had writers block the past couple of days and I just wanted to get this out there. I promise the next chapter will be longer but it might not be out for awhile.
