I completely forget if I said where they lived so we're just gonna say they live in Michigan. Also, we're just gonna say it's November because I forgot if I put a month down or not. I should probably start writing these things down.

Friday came a lot faster then I wanted it to. It might've been because I didn't have to wake up and go to school early anymore. I passed the test and was able to start the cyber school on Wednesday.

I'm not even sure what time Vic is coming to pick me up or what I should wear. I tried texting him asking but he keeps ignoring me.

I was mentally flipping out because I had no idea what to wear. I think I went through my wardrobe about three times.

Eventually, I decided to wear a pair of skinny jeans and a flannel because it looks kind of nice but also kind of casual. I also had a beanie on because I was still kind of embarrassed over not having any hair.

I was doing some final adjustments to my outfit when the door bell rang. I was honestly sick to my stomach with how nervous I was.

I slowly made my way to the front door to see my mom trying to interrogate Vic but failing miserably. It was taking everything for him not to burst out into laughter.

"Kellin! He isn't letting me make him scared!" My mom whines when I step beside them.

"I'm sorry Ms. Bostwick." Vic says, finally letting out a laugh.

"Whatever. Just have him back her before midnight." She says, playfully glaring at Vic. He smiles and nods before looking over to me. "Ready?" He asks.

"As ready as I can be. It would've been nice if you told me what time you were coming or what I should wear." I tell him.

"Yeah, sorry about that." He says, chuckling nervously.

"It's all good." I tell him. When we reach the car, he opens the door for me. I smile in thanks then climb into the car. He shuts the door and goes to the backseat to put my tank back there. He then goes to the driver's side and gets in the car.

"What're we even doing tonight?" I ask him.

"We're are going mini-golfing." He tells me and I immediately get all giddy inside. I haven't played mini-golf in such a long time.

"Do you think it'll be a little difficult to play with the oxygen tank trailing behind me?" I ask him, my happiness floating away.

"What tank?" He asks, giving me a look that's saying 'forget about it' which made me happy all over again. I smile and turn my head to look out the window. It just now sinking in that I was going on a date. My first date with Vic Fuentes, the kid who just moved here merely three weeks ago.

I guess I zoned out because the next thing I know, Vic's tapping my leg telling me we're here. I step out of the car and breath in the fresh air before putting the oxygen tubes on my face.

The sun was just starting to set so the fairy lights hanging from the tress around the course were all lite up.

I was so captivated by them that I didn't notice Vic standing beside me till he rested his hand on my shoulder.

"You're zoning out a lot tonight. Are you okay?" He asks.

"Uh, yeah. This is just different to me." I tell him honestly.

"That's understandable." He says, "Now, let's go play some mini-golf." He adds excitedly, taking my hand and walking to the little area you can get your putter and ball.  My face heats up in realization that he's holding my hand. I smile and look down at our entwined hands.
