Vincent watched as the color completely drained from Calli's face, her body swaying as he reached her before she hit the floor.

"Fanculo!" He cursed, holding her in his arms.  Moving the hair from her face, he could see her eyes were rolled back into her head and her breathing was shallow.

Grabbing his phone, he called Luca and the man answered before the first ring was over.  "Get up to the house now!" Vincent yelled.  Luca didn't ask questions, he just obeyed.

Vincent heard several pairs of footsteps and voices calling out.  "We're in the billiard's room!" Vincent yelled out and when he looked up, Luca and Dom had appeared.

"Shit, boss!  What happened?" Dom asked, concern written all over his face.  Vincent had Luca help him get Calli better situated in his arms because of the way she fell and the way he caught her, it would have been difficult getting up with her.

Once they got her to the master bedroom, Vincent was worried that she hadn't come to yet, was this normal?

"Damn it, Vin!  What happened?" Luca asked.  "I told her about Dante and her father."  Vincent's answer was short and sweet.

"Why'd you do that!?" Dom asked, his voice slightly elevated but he apologized as soon as Vincent gave him that look.  The one that said question me again, I dare you.

"I promised her I wouldn't keep secrets from her and she picked up on something, asked me and I told her.  Merda, I had no idea she'd go into shock.  Jesus, what did I do?"  He was furious at himself for not giving her the news more gently.

Dom had disappeared to the bathroom, wet a rag with cold water and placed it on Calli's forehead and then patted down her cheeks and forehead again, before she finally started to stir a bit.

The three men watched anxiously as her eyelids fluttered, then she blinked rapidly a few times before she opened her eyes all the way.

"Vincent?" Her voice sounded weak.  "Si, baby, I'm here.  I'm so sorry Calli.  I should have phrased it differently" Vincent was still mentally beating himself up over it.

"Please, I want to sit up" Calli said as Vincent put his arm around her and fixing the pillows so she could be comfortable.

Luca had disappeared but came back with a bottle of water for Calli.  Twisting off the top and handing it to her, the men couldn't help notice her hands shaking as she accepted the cold liquid gratefully.

After a few sips, her color started returning and she stopped shaking, Vincent sat down next to her and pulled her hand to his lips.

She smiled wanly at him, saying "It wasn't your fault, babe.  I acted immature and basically forced you to tell me.  I should have waited for your timing, Vincent and I didn't."

"Geez woman, you gave us a scare" Luca said, running his hands through his hair, while Dom expelled a long breath and shaking his head in disbelief.

"I'm sorry guys.  You must think me weak after this" her voice filled with regret, a few tears running down her face.

"Of course we don't, Calli.  Don't be so hard on yourself" Dom told her.  Vincent kept a hold of her hand, like he was afraid she'd pass out again.
