Chapter 91

Vincent had insisted that Calli's doctor make a special house call and after hearing what she'd gone through, he had no problem coming right away and was brining his portable sonogram and technician.

"Calli, Dr. Sylvio is on his way in about thirty" Vincent called out to his wife in the bathroom. "Okay, babe, thanks. I'm so looking forward to seeing our baby" she said excitedly.

He smiled at his wife's excitement and then said "You know we never really got to discuss names." Calli appeared from the bathroom, naked and still dripping from her shower.

He knew what she wanted, so he moved towards her and took the offered towel and began to dry her off, spending more time on her belly as he dropped to his knees, caressing her and talking to their child.

"In order to pass the time and try to take our minds off our plight, Bri and I tried out different name combinations" she said as she ran her fingers through his soft hair.

Looking up at his beautiful wife, he said "What did you come up with?" "Luciano Alessandro Siranni" it sounded so regal dropping from her lips. "Luciano, huh? I really like it" Vincent smiled.

"Luciano, mi figlio" he repeated to her belly when they both felt it. Vincent looked up at Calli, his eyes wide with fascination, causing him to say "I-Is that...was that?" Calli caressed his head and nodded.

"That was your child saying hello, baby. He heard your voice and he knows you. Bri and I talked to him while we were gone. She told him about her big brother and I told him about his daddy." Vincent placed more kisses on her belly, just looking at it with amazement and love.

Once they were done and dressed, they headed downstairs to meet Dr. Sylvio, to let him know where to set up at and then grabbed a quick something to eat.

Thirty minutes later the doctor and his tech showed up and Vincent showed them to the guest room and then waited for Calli to come in.

"Dr. Sylvio" Calli greeted her and Bri's doctor.  "Mrs. Siranni you are looking so well and I just want to tell you how happy I am to hear that you and Ms. Bri are okay."

They chatted for a few more moments and then the doctor said "Well are you ready?"  Calli smiled, looked at Vincent and then nodded her head.

He had Calli lay down on the portable table and then his technician took over for the rest of it. "This will be a little cold so forgive me" she said. Calli nodded and hissed a little when it made contact.

"Okay, let's see what we have here" she moved the wand around while typing on the keyboard. "Calli, what did Dr. Melina say when he did his sonogram?"

Calli told her that he'd only done one and while it was kind of antiquated, he said everything looked healthy. "Why do you ask?" Vincent asked.

"Did he ever say anything about twins?" Vincent and Calli both said at the same time "Twins!?" The technician turned the screen so they could see what she saw.

She nodded and said "It would seem that Baby B here was hiding behind Baby A and their heartbeats were so close together they couldn't be detected separately.  Do you want to know the sex of your babies?"

Vincent was still trying to get over what he'd just been told while he looked over at a dazed Calli.  "Do you want to know baby?" She asked.

He nodded.  "I really do" he said excitedly.  Turning to the tech, Calli said "Okay, we're ready."  Pointing to the screen in two different places the tech said "See right here?  Between their little legs?  Little penises.  You're having two little boys.  Congratulations!"

Vincent sat down on the bed, rubbing his face in disbelief.  Calli laid on the table crying softly as the tech cleaned up her belly and then Dr. Sylvio came and spoke to them again.

"I guess this is quite a shock?"  He smiled as Calli said "Well, you could say that."  He went on to explain that she would need plenty of rest, get on prenatal vitamins, eat healthy and enjoy being pregnant.

The technician had printed out several pictures for them, they got everything packed away, said their goodbyes and left, leaving a still very stunned but excited Vincent and Calli standing there.

"Well" Calli said laughing. "We need to come up with another name." Vincent threw his head back and laughed and gave her that signature smirk.

"How about Lorenzo Alberto Siranni?" Vincent said. "I love that! Luciano and Lorenzo...it's got a wonderful ring to it" Calli said walking towards Vincent.

"You know how much I love you?" Vincent asked while twirling her hair in his fingers. "Yeah I have a pretty good idea" she said pulling him to her so she could kiss him.

"Hmm, you taste divine" Calli husked as she continued kissing him passionately, leaving them both breathless and panting.

"We need to go tell our family. I'm sure they're out there waiting and it's probably driving them crazy" Vincent said. Sighing, Calli said "Yeah you're right, besides I'll make you mine later."

Tucking a piece of her beautiful hair behind her ear, he said "Yes, yes you will."  Kissing her one more time, he placed his hand on her belly and said "Luciano and Lorenzo.  My sons."

Vincent watched Calli gather the photos while he held the door open for her and they made their way into the kitchen where it sounded like something was going on.

"Well?" Vincent and Calli's moms said at the same time.  His parents, Calli's, Bri and Luca all stared at him and Calli, waiting for their answer.

Calli grinned and said, "Its a good thing we have two nonas."  They looked confused as his wife went on to explain.  "Everyone, meet Luciano Alessandro and Lorenzo Alberto Siranni, your grandsons and nephews."

Placing the sonogram pictures out on the island, Calli rubbed her belly, sighing in happiness, while everyone began talking immediately in excited tones.

"Congrats, boss!" Luca said, patting Vincent on the back.  He watched Calli and Bri interact, thinking that their ordeal had truly brought them closer and they were more like sisters than before.

Vincent knew that life was never going to be the same, he'll who was he kidding?  It changed the night he saw Calli.  He stopped ever wanting anyone else from that night forward.

After the excitement died down, Bri acted fidgety and Luca grabbed everyone's attention.  "Today is a day for celebrating here in the Siranni house.  Two new life's" he said nodding towards Vincent and Calli.  "And this beautiful woman has accepted my hand in marriage!"

Vincent pulled Bri to him, brotherly hug and advice ensued while Calli hugged Luca, her eyes shining with tears of joy and of course everyone wanted to see the ring.

His home was truly blessed this day, with such great news and the only thing left to do, was let Calli know that Meena had been caught.  Her and her father would be paying for their crimes against his house tomorrow.

He had very special planned for them.  Very special indeed.  The level of anger and retribution that was in his soul right now would not be rivaled.  It would be slow, painful and methodical.

Make no mistake, you did not want to ever cross Vincent Siranni.  Ever.
