Bri took care of my hair and I helped her with hers, then we did our makeup and lastly we pulled our dresses on.  "Holy sh*t, Calli!" Bri exclaimed.  "You are going to rock Vincent's world!"  I just rolled my eyes and laughed.

Once we were ready, we went downstairs to join our family and when we entered the kitchen, everyone stopped talking and gawked at us.

The way Vincent looked at me, made me wish that I'd chosen a dress that I could wear my panties with because he was making me wet with that stare of his.

"Bri, you and Calli need to stay close to Luca and I tonight because you will have men all over you and I really don't want to deal with that on today of all days." Vincent was scowling at me!

I walked over to him and grabbed his hand and said "Excuse us but we'll be right back" as I dragged Vincent to the laundry room.

Turning around, I looked my husband straight in the eyes and said "You have absolutely nothing to worry about, Vincenzo. I chose this dress specifically for you and no one will dare give me a second look because I am the wife of Vincenzo Siranni."

Smirking at me was exactly what I expected from Vincent and I saw that I'd gotten through to him. "I don't guess I can argue with you since you made some very valid points" he'd moved closer to me and had his hands firmly on my waist.

"Kiss me woman, now" he demanded and so I wrapped my arms around his neck and pushed my body flush with his while he deepened our kiss.

Placing my mouth next to his ear, I whispered "I have one more present for you but you will get it when we are alone in our room later tonight." His body hummed as he hung on my words.

The party started off with a bang and was in full swing within a couple of hours when I walked over to the DJ and asked him to play Starboy by The Weekend, then I went and looked for Vincent so we could dance.

When I finally found him, I couldn't believe who he was talking to and better yet, couldn't believe this person had the balls to show up.  Meena Agassi.

I stood there watching him laugh at something she said but all traces of a smile were gone when he saw me.  I just shook my head, turned around and walked off.  I just felt numb and stupid and deep down I kept wondering if he had something still going on with her.

I tried to shake those thoughts as I milled around and then finally coming to rest by the bar, wished like hell that I could drink because I really needed one.

Clarissa was standing next to me and I had been so deep in thought I hadn't even realized she was there until she put her hand on my arm.

"Calli, Tesoro, what's wrong?" Her voice tender with concern.  "I went to look for Vincent and found him talking and laughing it up with Meena Agassi of all people.  How the hell did she even make it in here tonight?" I was pissed.

She shook her head and said "I didn't invite her."  "No, I did" his voice made me cringe.  Turning around I scowled at my handsome husband, wondering if he'd fallen and hit his head or something.

"Well that's just special" I mumbled under my breath.  "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" Vincent said.  I just shrugged at the comment and started to turn away when he caught my arm.

"I'm trying to find out what her dad is up to" he told me.  "Huh" I said.  "Well you could have at least told me.  I felt like a fool, oh and I gotta say I really loved the smirk I got from her behind your back."
