Ok.

Alpha's are supposed to be calm, collected leaders who the pack can go to for advice or help. In most stories, authors make the Alpha a teenager when they are normally supposed to be around their  30's,40's or 50's. Unless the Alpha and Luna have suddenly died in a fight (which could potentially be a good twist), the alpha should never be a teenager. Teenagers can't control their hormones very well so the pack would be very fed up. They should be able to rely on their Alpha for help.

Also, an alpha or the alpha's children doesn't always need to have a stupid and rude attitude. The next in line doesn't always have to be popular, especially if the character is in a human and werewolf school. Most likely, the next in line will actually be the kindest and most helpful teenager in the pack. They would have been trained to be like that or just have it in their genes. No alpha, would give a whole pack (which is a very big responsibility) to a hormonal teenager, who isn't a very good leader and treats the pack badly.
