This is, for some stupid reason, a MUST in bad werewolf novels.
Werewolves are supposed to be hiding from humanity. It's not realistic to have werewolves talk about pack related things if they're close to a human.
And even if they're not, they shouldn't be saying this anyway. Humans aren't stupid and if your character did say werewolf stuff around us we'd figure out. Maybe give them code words or something. Mind linking is the best way though.
